Jay's In Schiller Park

When I worked at O'Hare Airport, I'd go to Jay's Beef for the best beef sandwich outside of Chicago. This sandwich is comparable (quality and taste) to Freddie's in Chicago, but slightly smaller and also less expensive. It has a delicious flavor and tender texture with awesome bread. This heavenly concoction comes dripping from its own warm juices rendering it so drunken and limp with well spiced happiness it barely needs biting, but rather swiftly surrenders to swallowing. The result of a home made recipe that seems so un-compromised, other beefs should not bare the same name. I will call all other beefs ""wet cardboard sammiches"" now on. The bread! The bread is an exceptionally chewy variety with a subtle crisp crust that seems the only candidate to freight ship the tender beef to your mouth.
