Great place very kind people, Carol Paris does my color and she is,extremely talented and very personal and fun to talk too, to the person that comment about the spa that is owned by someone else,and is rented space I believe thats why it has,a different name, but I love this place wont go anywhere else more

Do NOTTTTT listen to the other reviews! I have been going to Jay's salon for almost 5 years. They offer the highest quality of services and everyone in there is super friendly. Of course, keep in mind, it is a fast-paced salon with over 40 employees. Elle does my hair and she was even voted Best in Philly for Best Blowdry. Shes so fun and personable and everytime I am there we always chat and have fun! Jay is also so much fun. He's so friendly and somehow manages to cut hair and greet all of his customers. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS SALON. I have been going here for 5 whole years for a slew of different services including hair, hair products, waxing, makeup, and massages! Try it out!! I promise You'll loveeee it! more

I decided to try out the Jay Michael Salon in Ardmore. I booked an appointment for a hot stone massage. When I arrived there, no one at the desk was interested in helping me, they were too busy talking to each other. I finally got someone's attention and they told me to go upstairs and wait. They never gave me a paper or instructed the massuse what kind of massage to give me. I ended up with a swedish masssage, which was ok, but not what I wanted. I came down stairs and WAITED for the girls to notice me at the desk. I could have walked out and they would have NEVER noticed. I told them that I didn;t get the kind of massage that I scheduled and the girl looked at me and said "well you should have told the massage therapist". I thought that was their job. Anyway, I asked how much I owed and neither girl could figure out the price and had to call someone on the phone to find out. Needless to say, I will never return there again and NEITHER SHOULD YOU! more
