Bally's close to it all. 8/12/2006

We stayed at Bally's for 10 days recently. Our room had a view of both the Eiffel tower at Paris & The Belliago fountains. Bally's is a reasonable hotel close to Paris, The Belliago, Cesear's Palace, The Mirage, The Flamingo & the Alladin, as we walked to all. The rooms were clean & very well kept, the hotel overall was very clean & the hotel staff were all extremely friendly. The only issue I had was the casino smelled of smoke, but then again most of the casino's did, except the newer Belliago & Wynn. Bally's does not have so much of the heavy theming as the other casiono's do, if the heavy theming is what you want Bally's is not for you. Since it sares a common area with it's sister hotel Paris, it is easy to get to Paris from Bally's. The Big Kitchen buffett was very good & reasonable in price, but it gets very busy, espically on weekends, going earlier may be best for you. Luck was with us as we booked the room got the room a for 79.00 a night and we asked that a refigerator be added to the room (extra 10.00 a night), so we could keep a few bottles of water cold. We will consider Bally's again, as it is so centrally located. more

GREAT Location, A Little Older Crowd 7/27/2006

Bally's shows some of its age - Back in the 80s it was the MGM Grand before a huge fire - it was renovated sometime after that. It has a decent casino space, and some small resaurants but nothing that really makes it stand out as a Las Vegas mega hotel. If you are looking for a reasonable place to stay in a GREAT location - It is acress from Bellagio and Caesars, and connected to Paris. Bally's is worth a stay - like I said - nothing fancy - but the location is really very good! more

Bally's 4/14/2006

I've only stayed at Bally's once. I got a good package deal with airline fare and hotel, so I thought I'd give this place a try. I was honestly pretty happy with the hotel overall. My room was nice and very clean. Room service was very prompt. I loved that it is connected directly with the Paris hotel. (It made it very convenient, as I love the Paris' buffet). I had some good luck with the slots. I won $70 on the nickels! Bally's is in a great location on the strip too. I will definitely stay here again in the future. more

Nice location on the strip 4/10/2006

Close to some of the bigger and fancier resorts, Bally's is in a good location on the strip. However, it is a typical Bally's style hotel and doesn't have the grand decor that you look for and expect on the strip nowadays. It is quite large and the casino is nice, but we didn't eat in any restaurants or sleep in the rooms so I can't comment on those aspects of this resort. more

Your father's hotel/casino 2/8/2006

this hotel is in a great place. It's across the street from Caesars Palace, Flamingo, and Bellagio and connected to Paris. Nice! However, that is not the best thing about it. The rooms have plenty of space and come equipped with everything you could want (sofa, hair dryers, a safe and great bath supplies). the only caveat is that to get great service, you really should spring for the concierge service (one floor is solely concierge service). more
