Take-Away Quality 5/12/2004

The food wasn't bad, we all enjoyed our meals enough, but it is hardlu athentic Thai. Further, the flavours were really pedestrian: there was a complete lack of the subtle complexity that can define superb Thai cuisine. "One flavour per dish." The ambience is lacking, as well. However, if one desires take-away style food, but doesn't want to take it away past the door of the establishment, this is the place for you! A nice, quiet atmosphere and good service make Jasmine a fine dining experience. If you are looking for a nice change from the noisy, fast-paced restaurants of today, Jasmine is just the place to go. They have wonderful service and are quick and efficient. Go to Jasmine for a fantastic Thai cuisine! Pros: reasonable prices, polite, fast service, wonderful food Cons: exterior needs work, dark atmosphere more

Captures friendly Asian environment. 7/12/2002

The Jasmine Restaurant and Lounge in Grandview Heights offers a very pleasant dining experience. The family owned business is more than your average "Mom & Pop's" restaurant. The interior design includes acient Chinese and Thai decorations. Jasmine's is composed of three areas. The Lounge, offering conversational bartenders and excellent Mai Tais. The Main dining room, with excellent Thai cuisine. The Teriyaki restaurant, offering convenient carry-out. Jasmine is one of the very few restaurants I've encountered that offerst delicious and authentic Thai food and I would highly recomend it to anyone.
