I have gone to James for years. He is the only one I will let touch my hair anymore. I always receive numerous compliments on how good my hair looks after a cut by him. I have had mixed results with the colorists and won't use one of them to save my life, but overall, find that his prices are well worth the money for the quality received! more

Waste of money and time 5/8/2010

I have to admit that the name of the salon cought my attention and I assumed that the service would live up to that. The staff is extremely nice but for the price I paid for a trim and partial highlights, it was not worth the time. I called and asked for prices of a trim & style, she said it started at $30, they charged me $70. You can barely see that I even had a cut. I asked for bright highlights because I wanted something funky and different. I receivd low lights of a caramel color that were toned down and almost matche the rest of the hair. NO ONE even noticed I had anything done for $85. They put some liquid gel into my hair before blow drying it and it looked like I havent washed my hair in days nor could you put fingers through it. So for a total of $155, my hair stylist in Chicago would have given me a full head of HIGHLIGHTS with cut and style TWICE and NO I DID NOT TIP THEM [cash only anyways]. \r Would not recomment this place to anyone. \r Pros: Very friendly staff Cons: Overpriced, cant see highlights more
