Adrienne Blocker at James Scott Farrin was my attorney and she was AWESOME. My case was not an easy one because I was very close to the filing deadline and she had to kind of jump through hoops to make sure I would not lose my window of opportunity. There was massive paperwork that needed to be collected and she and her paralegal handled all of that and made all the contacts - all I had to do was give them the information. She and her paralegal kept me informed every step of the way and anytime I emailed them or called them, I immediately received a response from them. The other attorneys and staff I came in contact with at James Scott Farrin were always willing to help and very responsive. My case took a while but that was because she was not willing to settle until she felt she had received the best settlement she could for me. I not only considered her my attorney but also my friend. I would like to share my experience with the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin because I am pleased with their representation in my personal injury claim and would refer them to others. The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin settled my case and helped with my medical treatment bills, my lost wage, and money for my pain and suffering. I was struck by a truck on my road bike and missed one week of work and a week's worth of salary, visited the emergency room three times, and completed six weeks of physical therapy.\r \r I was riding my road bike, equipped with a front and rear light, when I heard a loud smack. The driver of a full size truck, F-350, with extended side view mirrors, failed to reduce speed. The side view mirror struck my body and then broke off and shattered the passenger window. I was on the ground and repeated aloud “I need help, I am hurt”. I felt pain on the left side of my body, this includes my left shoulder, left side of my back, left hip, left arm, upper left leg, and beside my left knee. When the ambulance arrived, my neck was put in a brace and I was wheeled onto the ambulance on a stretcher. I arrived at the hospital in pain. I could not lift my left arm. There were two bruises, the size of tennis balls on my left shoulder blade and underneath the bottom of my left shoulder blade, from where the driver's side view mirror hit me, in addition to abrasions of multiple sites to the left side of my body. \r \r This was a stressful time in my life and I am fortunate to have the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin take care of the law suit. My lawyer was available to communicate with me over the phone or via email and explained everything to me so that I understood. When we were hit from behind I was luckily the only one injured. I was feeling very frustrated because I was hurt and had no idea what to do, so I called James Scott Farrin who sent an investigator over to my house that same day. I was told what they would do and what I should do. That was the last frustrating day I had. Is there anything more pathetic than a law firm that fabricates their own online reviews!? James Scott farrin is a terrible law firm. I hired them to handle my auto accident case and somehow they ended up with more of the settlement that I did. Read the fine print. I did all the leg work for this case getting medical records and tracking down employment information and they took nearly all the money. Before I called them the insurance company offered me more than what I ended up with after calling James Scott farrin. These people make me sick. One day I called and demanded to speak to my lawyer and was told that I didn't have a specific lawyer so I asked to speak to any lawyer. I even asked to speak to mr Farris himself. I ended up with a terrible lady attorney named melody Bloomberg who made me feel so terrible I was in tears by the end of the call. I hate this place and will never call them again. more

I was getting yelled at by Dave because i wouldn't settle for the amount the other insurance wanted too. They didn't even do anything this whole year and 3 months of having them they just sent all the paper work i collected that they couldn't supposedly get and sent it off to the other guys insurance and they are the ones who came up with the offer. James scott farrin didn't come up with no offer they practically told me be happy on what your getting for being rear ended at a complete stop getting hit by a SUV going 50mph and my wife was 7 months pregnant. My case was only 400 dollars and my wife was 2000 how pathetic is that?! I bet they wouldn't of excepted that offer if it had happen to them! For more than a year having them I had been contacted 2 times with them. All the times i had to call numerous times since they are never at work and when i mention it i get yelled at telling me the reasons and it wasnt their fault. so the 3 time i was contacted was to let me know I was terminated with the firm over a review i wrote for their weak perfomance of not calling us like they mention when they go to your house for the initial visit and for the settlement the other guys insurance came up with. By the way i know for a matter of fact they are writing their own reviews because they have been reported by the better business bureau and the north carolina BAR ass. which i will do as well more

I have been a client of James Scott Farrin Law offices since June 2011. The single most impressive quality that everyone displayed was total dedication to meeting the needs of my family. Personal touches such as home visits to accommodate our busy schedules was such a blessing. My attorney, Adrienne Blocker, has the most genuine heart of anyone that I have ever met. She truly cares about people. For me, I always felt more like a friend rather than a client. Sometimes she would call just to say “Hi” and to see how I was doing. That meant a lot to me. If you take your case to James Scott Farrin, be aware that the attorneys are not working your cases. Support staff is working your cases entitled Paralegals. They are over worked and underpaid for their services. They are practicing law without a degree. Your case will sit on these overworked staff desk for months at a time not due to lack of care or concern but too many cases and not enough time to work them. Attorneys are silouhettes in the handling of your case. Choose a law firm that the attorneys actually work and direct your case. more

This firm demolished my case and left me hanging to sort it out on my own. Customer Service is nonexistent. Don't make the same mistake as me. Do your research and hire an attorney that has actually tried a case. more
