i went to the jalisco's on state and they have the best food ever,,i was amazed with the all u can eat mexican buffet..i have never seen one befor! and the service was top notch...whoever doesnt like this place is nutts!!!!! Pros: the food and service` more

Havent eaten there in ages, but when I was a child I remember a location in Argentine ...it was not the location that is there now, I am sure.....anyone remember where they started out.? more

Good Mexican food, good Mexican folks, a KC institution for forty years. 5/1/2007

For forty years, the Hernandez family has served traditional Mexican food with warm Mexican hospitality at Kansas City's Jalisco Restaurants. For thirty-seven of those years (while dozens of ostensibly-Mexican chain places opened and closed) I have stayed happy with for-real Mexican people serving me my for-real Mexican favorites. Pros: plenty of great food, conservative prices, extensive menu plus buffet, good folks Cons: parking is often inadequate, decor is OK but dated, few frills more
