Jack's has great ""character'... it looks like it's been in operation for a hundred years, and the help are ""down home"", friendly folk. Not much on the menu (you order at the counter), but the prices are quite reasonable, the portions are generous, my pulled pork & the baked beans were tasty, and I thought the cornbread was delicious. Have fun experimenting with the 5 different kinds of BBQ sauces! After you decide on a favorite, buy a bottle to take back home.
Pros: inexpensive, old-time atmosphere, tasty food
