very disappointed! I paid 1600 for a couch and love seat with "" bonded leather"" Was told it was very durable and would wear as good as leather. We went with a local furniture maker because I was told that there warranty was the best and they would take care of any problems! this is not the case. The couch which is used the most started cracking and peeling in all the areas that had any type of fold or bend and when I had them come to fix it I was told that it was due to my pets. This is absolutely not true. there is about 2 scratches from my pet but the cracks are in the folds of the arms and seats areas the animal does not touch. Stanton says that the fabric has a 1 year warranty and it took just over a year for the cracks to show up. I could not be more disappointed. both company's let me down I expected for the money I would have this set for many years but not the case it is disposal and will never buy from JR or Stanton ever again. Either you back your product or you don't! and you have proven you DO NOT AND DO NOT DESERVE MY BUSINESS! more

My wife and I went in to the Gresham store and we where helped by Roy omg was he great . Really went out of his way too help us find the right sofa and we got it in 3 weeks just like he said. We came in too pay for it and the office girl was great then on our way out we meet the GM Harry we love this store and staff we would only ever buy furniture from JR Furniture and so should you!!!!!!! ( great deals too!!!!!) more

We had a very good experience with JR. We bought our master bedroom set and formal dining room set from them. John Gardner helped us find what we wanted with a very good price. Actually we went there at least twice before we decided to buy furniture from them, and John never pushed us. He just gave recommendations based on our needs. I changed the order, and the manger helped with that without any issue. In less than 3 weeks, the furniture was delivered as expected. They carefully set up all pieces for us, and did not leave until we were totally satisfied. We have been using the furniture for 3 months so far, and we love them! more

If I would have read all of the terrible reviews that I found for JR Furniture BEFORE I visited, I never would have even gone there. I wanted to share my experience, which was actually quite positive. I'm really glad we shopped there. Our goal was to purchase a new couch. And after driving around the furniture haven that is Tukwila, and getting scared off by the hovering clingy saleswoman at Macy's Furniture, we found ourselves at JR Furniture. First impression is that the place looked like a giant warehouse that could quite possibly be scary on the inside, but it was really quite normal and everything was laid out nicely for browsing. We were greeted right away and then left to browse on our own. No stalkers. When we had a question, the nice saleswoman, Evelyn, answered it, and helped us while keeping a respectful distance. Some of the other salesfolks looked a little shady, so I'm glad we had her helping us. We found the perfect sofa (made by a local company, bonus) that was unfortunately being sold as part of a 3 piece set - we only needed the sofa. Luckily, they had a couple of extras in the warehouse and were willing to sell us a single sofa for a very fair price - wayyy under the budget that we had initially planned for. Really nice surprise. Little things: I read in their online flyer that they had free delivery, but of course there must have been fine print that I missed because delivery to Seattle would have cost $75 and was done through an outside delivery service. We had to haul our old futon away, so we ended up getting a U-Haul van. Cost broke about even, and we weren't at the mercy of a delivery service's schedule. My husband said it was a little awkward to figure out where to go to pick up the couch back at the warehouse, but after knocking on some doors he finally caught someone's attention. The sofa came wrapped up really, really well - pretty impressive, and handy since we had to do some serious dragging and shoving to get it through the door. So yep, positive experience. Walked in, bought a couch, no special orders or fancy business. JR Furniture totally worked for us. more

JR FURNITURE WARNING!!!! Do not buy from them. Our couch arrived broken. And They have been giving me the run around for 9 weeks now of every reason in the world on why it has not been fixed. From waiting for the leg to come from China to. We have called the repair man to come fix it to We will replace the piece and never calling back. I get the lady saying my mngr will call you and never does. Or can I call you back and they never do.. WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM JR FURNITURE!!!! my couch arrived scratched. a cut in the side the bottom ripped up. Don't shop with them. if you know someone looking for furniture.. don't get it there.. Pass this along to your friends. more

Ok, I found a set of furniture that I really wanted. It was on clearance because it was a floor model, the sales guy John was helpful (at first!) however once we said we wanted a chair to match they got rude. They found us a chair with an OUTRAGEOUS pricetag. We then found the same exact set, brand new and you get to pick your color, for $50 cheaper. Bring this to their attention and they basically told us to go to the other place and buy it there. Even though they have signs all over the store that say we will beat anyone's price by 10%. Yeah right, this place is a joke! Never will I even walk in their door again! more

We discovered the difference all right!! We spent over $6000. 00 on a new bed set. Then I had to do all of the work after that!! They never called to tell me it was in. When I called they said its in, we will be calling you to deliver. 4 days later I call. They say Oops, sorry. They will deliver Friday. Friday comes, its coming Saturday. 2 o clock rolls around, no call, no delivery. I have to call them, no one will help. I end up calling the delivery driver MYSELF!! I had to cancel, I had plans. I told him to reschedule me for Monday AM. AM!! I call the store-BEG the sales rep to help and get it here in the AM-No problem Im told. Now I have taken 2 days off work. My furniture gets to me Monday night at about 7pm-right at dinner of course. Because why? HE WAS BUSY!! TOO BAD!! I never thought they were going to make it up our stairs. Not too Musclebound if you know what I mean My sales rep never called me back. The whole thing was a joke. Find what you want there and then buy it somewhere else!! They stink at delivering, great at taking your money!!! Pros: Parking Lot empty-Lots of parking and Sales Reps lazily sitting around on their furniture Cons: Once you pay-You are on your own!! more
