Used to be my Favorite Spa 8/18/2010

The spa pool atmosphere used to be tranquil. This is what I liked about the spa pool; I enjoy being away from the chaos that some of the other pools at the resort have (kids, cell phones, people talking loud, etc.). There are signs posted inside and outside the spa/pool area indicating that this is a quiet zone and that no cell phones are permitted. more

Favorite Place in the World! 8/10/2009

This is my favorite place in the entire world where time stands still. With breathtaking views of Camelback Mountain, as well as Mummy Mountain you'll never want to leave. The chefs are world class, as well the rooms. There are many children's activities as well as a state-of-the-art spa. I highly recommend vacationing at this one-of-a-kind resort. more

Good location, nice rooms. 7/24/2009

Stayed here with my daughter, we had a really nice room, very large and clean. Beds were good. The area had its own small pool, which was nice. They have a large pool, which was so nice in the evening. Parking was good, staff at check in were pleasant. Would stay again. more

Fantastic spa, beautiful scenery 6/28/2009

My mom and I had a girls getaway in 2008. We spent a day at the spa on the resort which is absolutely beautiful. The pool at the spa is a quiet sanctuary open only to spa-goers so no loud children. The women's locker room is very clean and nice and has a hot tub. I had a massage which was very good but not the best I've had. The resort itself is beautiful. Breakfast room service is excellent! They set it up on the patio and the food is fantastic. more

Day Spa 5/19/2009

I visited this spa while we stayed at the resort. They have wonderful facials and massages. They are expensive, but they are dedicated to making you comfortable and feeling luxurious throughout your experience! more

Nice property 11/28/2008

I have been to events at the Camelback Inn and have enjoyed the facility, grounds and hospitality. It's not the most luxurious hotel and it has a much more southwestern feel than most of the other properties in and around Phoenix, but it's nice enough and worth a stay. more

Awesome Spa! 11/17/2008

Talk about a relaxing afternoon! The spa at the Camelback Inn is awesome! Great facials, relaxing massages, a perfect way to spend a day. A great gift for the stressed out person in your life! more

Great golf 11/14/2008

The casita-style rooms are a nice change from the typical hotel, and the golf courses (2 of them) attached to the resort are also great. Summer pricing here is great! more

Best spa in town 11/5/2008

When you walk into this spa you can feel the stress falling away. The spa has local specialities and the normal spa treatments as well as salon services.\r \r The spa has an outdoor pool that is heated and outdoor jacuzzi. There is an internal jacuzzi and both wet and dry saunas.\r \r This is the place to make you feel special. more

amazing experience! 12/28/2005

i had such a great stay at the camelback and i would return here anytime i visit scottsdale. the service and attention to detail are second to none. the beds are the most comfortable i have ever slept in. i totally disagree about the restaurants. i ate at all of them except for chapparal and they were excellent. the best suprise was the nightly dinner buffet at navajo. we came across it totally by accident and were amazed. i am a very skeptical buffet person but this blew me away. for $29.95 there are 3 rooms of gourmet food. one chef preparing pasta for you on the spot, another carving prime rib, piles of huge cocktail shrimp and ahi tuna and snow crab claws were a few of my favorites. the spa was also wonderful but book in advance! stay here for an all around great time. Pros: Service, Amenities Cons: none! more

Great Hotel 11/19/2002

Great hotel/resort - Service is outstanding. Amenities are very good. Price not to bad for the rooms and service, but go to Scottsdale to eat as the resturants are less than great. Over all if you are sight seeing or just trying to get away this is a very nice place to visit. more

Great Hotel, Horrible Restaurants 5/18/2002

The hotel is superb. Prepare to be pampered. Play golf, then have a wonderful massage, and a relaxing swim. When you get hungry, drive to Scottsdale to eat. The restaurants at this hotel are absolutely horrible. There are two or three restaurants on the grounds and they are disappointing in all respects. Pros: Golf, Resort Amenities, Big Pool Cons: Location, Restaurants more
