I've had my hair cut by Tiffany Williams on 3 different occassions in the last couple of months (I have very short hair thus the frequency) and she's done a great job. Having just moved from New York and most recently Denver, I have been spoiled by fantastic, up to date, talented salons. It was a struggle to find anything close to that in the Springs until I came to J.Gregory. Their staff are completely capable, well educated, encouraging, and genuinely interested in learning your wants, needs and lifestyle. I was really happy with my experience with Kaitlyn. I came in wanting to go from long layers to a shorter bob and she handled it beautifully. She knew tricks for my particular hair type to make the cut I wanted even better for me. She also chose, mixed and applied my highlights perfectly. I walked out of there looking 10x better than when I walked in, and was able to maintain that look even at home. Really happy. I moved to Colo. Springs a few years ago and had a hard time finding the right hair stylist. After enquiring with friends and seeing a few news articles about J. Gregory Salon I decided to set up a consultation with Greg. He was fantastic. He had the knowledge and experience I was looking for in a stylist. He took the time to discuss my lifestyle and color preferences and recommended a new cut and color. I’ve been a client ever since. The salon staff is very professional and attentive and the atmosphere is creative. I would highly recommend anyone looking for creative and talented stylist to meet Greg. I used city search to try and find a decent salon to get a drastic change to my haircut. j gregory didn't have any negative reviews and other salons with negative reviews had people going to j gregory to have their botched cuts and colors fixed. I printed up some pictures and went to get some bangs. Evan was the man for the job. He gave an informative consultaion and listened to my input and concerns. My hair turned out amazingly! I recently had my first haircut with Katelyn. It was on a fluke, but I called the salon, told them I was looking for a new hairdresser, described my hair and said I needed help! The person I spoke with recommended Katelyn. I was a little nervous, but as soon as I met with Katelyn, she put me completely at ease. She talked with me extensively about my hair; she listened to me and my concerns and then she made some suggestions. My last color job left me looking like a banana head, and Katelyn assured me she could correct it. Not only did I receive an amazing color correction, I received the very, very BEST haircut I have every received!! It was so stylish and so beautiful! I had no idea my hair could look like that! When I went home, all my husband could say was ""WOW!!"" It's been a few months since that great haircut and I'm going back today to see Katelyn again, but I can tell you, this hair cut has grown out great, was extremely easy to maintain and has made me happy with my hair. Sarah Deeter Rocks!!! I moved here from the East cost a little over 2 years ago and back east, it really was hard to find a bad salon. Here in Colorado Springs, it's a different story! Finding a nice salon and a great stylist is like trying to find a bucket of gold at the end of rainbow. I found VEDA and on my 3rd visit, my hair was, well, yellow. I went back for them to tone it, correct it, something. Still yellow!!! My husband was already seeing Sarah at J Gregory and swore that I would love what they could do and set me up with Hillary. Hillary actually was the first person I saw there. She corrected my color THAT visit. I would have continued to see Hillary but she went to Germany on a mission trip. I began seeing Sarah and my blonde is PERFECT!!!! It has never looked so good. In fact, I kid you not, I get complements where ever I go saying that my hair is gorgeous. Andrea Brown was my stylist and she did an amazing job. I'd been growing my hair out for over a year to donate, and she took my mop of hair from a lion's mane to short and stylish. It's been perfectly manageable since my cut 3 weeks ago, an amazing feat since I don't use any products and rarely a blow-dryer. This is the perfect place to go if you need a little style in your life! Pros: You can't go wrong with any of the stylists. Cons: Probably a little expensive for an every two-week trim. more

I received a hair cut by Andrea Brown from J Gregory Salon. I can honestly tell you it was an amazing hair cut. Andrea took the time to find out what it was that I was really wanting, and then brought the visual picture that I had in my mind into reality. Not only was the process wonderful, but Andrea was great to work with. She was very personable and friendly. After moving to the Springs from Boston I struggled for 2 years to find a stylist who was both talented and friendly. It may sound frivolous to some, but the situation was downright depressing. Granted, I have high standards coming from Beantown. (I know women in NYC who travel to Boston for the sole purpose of a haircut. Is that ridiculous? Yes. Am I joking? No.) I'm not impressed by a stylist who takes time to listen, gives gentle advice, and cuts great hair. That's simply what I expect! I also expect a high end salon to be hip without pretension. If a business is truly superior it won't tolerate rude attitudes and blank stares. Yet, until I found JGregory and Jami Anderson, it seemed as if I was asking too much from this town. (I hate to be so negative but I was very frustrated!) The staff is friendly and full of smiles, while the salon itself is in a lovely building with charming, stylish ambiance. Jami radiates a calm confidence that is immensely reassuring, relaxing, and utterly delightful to be around. She's a skilled, topnotch stylist who understands the complexities of hair. She knows what will (and will not!) work. When I excitedly/naively asked for a particular style, Jami did not hesitate to advise against it - without making me feel foolish, the sweetheart. The cut involved a lot of maintenance and she knows I can barely dry my own hair. She came up with a similar (and very easy to care for) alternative and I was as happy as a clam. She also waxes my brows with artistic, ninja skill. Jami is the only person allowed to put hot wax on my face. Bottom line? I trust her. I'm sure every stylist at JGregory is solid, but Jami is the one for me. I respect her work and I cannot recommend her enough. Pros: Atmosphere, Friendly Staff more

I've been looking for a hair stylist her in Colorado Springs for the last 3 years. I chose to go to J. Gregory Salon because it got such good reviews. I was randomly assigned to Katelyn and I'm so glad because she did such a great job. When I got there, I had an idea of what I wanted. Katelyn took my picture, my likes and dislikes, and my lifestyle into account and gave me ideas of what she thought would work best for me. I love when stylists are able to do that... and it's rare! Now,a few weeks later, I still have a great cut that everyone compliments. My husband said I look 20 again. Katelyn cut and colored my hair and did an excellent job. She was so very nice and extremely professional. She listened to just what I said I wanted. She was so excited to style it and took her time to make it look great- no one has ever done that for me before. She used new techniques for cutting and coloring and they were great. I have had bad experiences with hair stylists here in the Springs, but after going to her I won't go to anyone else. I would highly recommend her to anyone! I had my hair cut by Katelyn recently and I have never been happier with it!!! I've had the same style for so long and I went in looking for something new, but stylish. As with most dimwit hairstylists, I've always had to spell out exactly what I wanted in order to get something decent. However, expecting the same thing out of Katelyn, I told her exactly what I was thinking. She then surprised me by telling me that my idea was good, but that she had a better one. She wasn't pushy, but was very enthusiastic and when I agreed to do her idea, she worked WONDERS! It is by far the best cut I have EVER had (and I have short hair, so I get cuts a lot). Katelyn knew exactly what would suit me best and I am so glad I followed her recommendation. I will be a client of Katelyn's for the rest of my life! more

I went to Lisi with my magazines and photos hoping for a great hair cut. She was great. She looked at the ideas I had and then discussed my life style with me. I have the best hair cut. I have been to several hairstylist and they all just do a so so job. I looked up top rated salons in google and it came up with j gregory salon. Every single review was excellent. So i tried it out, and andrea brown cut my hair and I have finally found my new hairdresser. OH my god i love my haircut!!! She is excellent. The salon was extremely friendly and they really worked hard to please me. Most salons can care less. I can never trust anyone else with my hair except for Teresa at J Gregory Salon. She not only listened to what I wanted but had her own ideas to make it even better. I recently had my hair done by Katelyn at J Gregory Salon and it was a wonderful experience. She listened to what I had in mind and then added her own flair. My cut and color turned out better then I ever dreamed. I had been very spoiled by my old stylist down in Birmingham AL, and have actually been looking for someone for the last three years. After just one experience with Katelyn I look foward to being spoiled again. I have found my stylist! It was like coming home, she even gave me a big hug as I was leaving. I had driven by this salon for awhile now, beautiful building a little uniquely placed, a window with J. Gregory so large no one could miss it, and in just the neatest nook of the city. It had definate allure. I got a new job in June, so I got a new paycheck and I decided J. Gregory was going to be my splurge. The granduer of the outside of the building was equal to what was inside. A eclectic decor with the most professional, talented, yet warm staff I have encountered a salon. Making my appt was seamless, they even confirmed, which I appreciated. And they led me in the direction of the proper stylist for my needs-which are long and naturally curly. When Teresa greeted me she too was a similar hair type which put me at ease. I was scheduled for a color and cut, and ended up getting my brows done as well. Teresa was outstanding, she consulted me on color options and my cut was perfect. She knows what she is doing, especially with nat curls. She is worth the try, I promise. Thanks Teresa five stars to you too!! Over all J.Gregory is a fine establishment. more

Lisi gave me the best haircut and coloring I've ever had. She was passionate about her work and even described a haircut as ""her art on my head."" It took over 2 hours because she was so committed to doing a great job. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you for enabling me to love my hair again!
