J Bangs Salon

I have gone to Jen Neu for a little over a year now. I cannot recommend her enough. She has been spot on with the color every time. Being a working mom, time is very important to me. Jen has gotten me in and out in about an hour and a half each time. I have very thick hair and other salons were pushing 3 hours for cut and color. I cannot say enough good things about this salon and Jen in particular! more

I can not say enough good things about this salon! I was lucky enough to get in to see Trish! Trish is Amazing! She transformed my hair into a work of art. She listened to what I was looking for and the results were fantastic! I totally trust her with my hair! All of my co-workers love it and are asking who did my hair. She also mentioned to me that she is about to start offering eyelash extensions. I CANT WAIT! Sign Me Up! Thank you for making my hair and my make up beautiful! The color and cut is perfect! Ive lived in the middle Tn area most of my life so you can only imagine the coulntless number of salons I've visited in the Nashville area. With that being stated, I can honestly say J Bangs is my favorite! My cut and color has never looked better and the atmosphere was welcoming and fun! I walked out feeling beautiful and refreshed. With a full time job, nursing school, and a three year old little girl thats exactly what I wanted and needed. Thanks to everyone at J Bangs for making my experience such a great one. So I went to J Bangs since I bought a groupon a while back and the service was amazing. My stylist Wayne, spent 3 hours coloring and cutting my hair and was never going back and forth working with another client. He even offered to run and get me food while we were waiting for the color to sit. I can't tell you how many compliments I've got on the new cut and color. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend this place to anyone! more

This is a great salon! I am new to Nashville and I have been in the salon industry for eleven years. I just recently left the industry upon moving here and this place was a happy surprise. I am uber picky when it comes to salons, to say the least, and this one impressed me. I highly recommend it!!! more

Loved the atmosphere, the staff. Christmas cookies out, hot tea offered the time went by so fast! I'm used to sitting at these places for hours while they pack on the foils, then leave for an hour until you're ready to be rinsed. The stylists were all friendly, the shop was busy but not uncomfortably so, and the price point was just what I'd expected. I'll be back in 8 weeks! more

J bangs is my new hair cutting place. After my long time hair cutter moved out of town I was in search for a new salon. Ran up on J Bangs and from the time when I walked in I felt welcomed and the staff seemed very nice and willing to help. Hair cut was awsome, Jen did a great job. Price was a bit high but I am willing to pay more for a good cut/service. Will definitely be back! Thank you guys/gals! more

J Bangs have great customer service because they are attentive to customer/client's needs by making sure clients are comfortable and satisfied with the service. Wayne met all my expectations of a proffessional and experience stylist. He did a great job with my hair! I am very satisfied with the cut, color, style, and highlights. I always really enjoy my experience at J Bangs. The location is great and very convenient. The salon is attractive, new, clean, and pleasant. The stylists create a welcoming atmosphere. Ashley does a great job on my cuts, color, etc. The head massage during shampoo is AMAZING!!! She always has new ideas to keep me looking good, and I trust her to do so. This is truly a beautiful salon with great staff and fantastic stylists. Ashley is fantastic; she can do it all! She has a great personality coupled with her talent in both cutting and coloring hair. I feel like I have had it all when it comes to hair styles and colors (recently she took me from blond, to red and I am now a brunette; all while growing out my hair). Ashley and J. Don't be scared with Wayne. The day before I met Wayne I had gone to 2 different stylists who had managed to butcher my hair in two differnt directions. My hair was completely uneven and no longer showed any part of the beautiful cut my reguler stylist had sculpted. I decided to call J.Bangs Salon because they are a Paul Mitchell Salon. (Special shout out to all the teachers @ Paul Mitchell Schools) When I called the Salon and explained to the receptionist what had happened she set me up with Wayne. He did an awsome job!!!!! I love to style my hair and when I do I can see every layer in my cut & its perfect. My curles lay beautifully. Thank you so much Wayne. Pros: Guarenteed a GREAT cut more

I loved the laid back yet classy atmosphere J Bangs had. I absolutely have made them my new salon to go to. I'm SUPER picky about the color on my hair (no one ever seems to get it right) but Wayne did such a great job!! I previously had a fave colorist I used for four years. Not anymore. It's now Wayne! I won't go anywhere else. He made, what at some salons can be intimidating, a great experience. I actually had FUN and can't wait to see him again! Thanks Wayne and J Bangs! J Bangs brings together all the beauty services you could want in one single, convenient location. The salon is upscale and elegant but very friendly and welcoming. Staff are very professional and clearly well-trained in their respective services. Customers get the sense that the staff really work as a team (which is a rarity these days!). Miss Lisa has tamed my eyebrows into submission beautifully. I'm a huge fan of stylist Wayne Roberts -- expert colorist and generally overall great hairdresser with a good sense of fashion and aesthetics. This salon is my FAVORITE salon in Nashville Period! From the moment you walk into the salon you will notice that the atmosphere is very inviting. It feels like you are in a neatly placed nest perched high above green hills. Lots of natural light and elements surround you during your experience. They have excellent taste in decor and music. Plus you have amazing seasoned professional stylists with positive attitudes that surround you. Also I love the fact that Julie the owner always takes the time to stop and say hello. She always has a smile on her face. Not to mention I LOVE the Paul Mitchell Products they use. Oh and lets not forget the amazing rinsing bowls. WOW! After having my hair worked with for many many years the first thing I noticed was the head rest inside the rinsing bowls. This is really a jewel if you tend to have a sore neck / shoulders like I do. You can actually relax while getting your hair washed or colored. What a concept!!! LOVE it. Be sure to ask for Trish. She does amazing things with my hair and I am so thankful she is over at JBangs! I feel pretty, relaxed and pampered every time I leave the salon. I have lived in Nashville since 1997. I get my hair done approx every 6 weeks as well as my waxing service every month. I have had many different experiences with many salons and I am here to say J bangs is my personal choice over all of them. No more stuffy salons or stuck up stylists for me! THANK YOU J BANGS!!! Julie and the rest of her staff are incredible. I met Julie 1.5 years ago when I moved to Nashville. She is an amazing person. You are greeted at the door by her mother, who remembers everyone that comes in, are guaranteed a does of Southern Hospitality and world class glamor. I've been coming to Julie for two and a half years after an exhaustive search for someone in Middle Tennessee able to do Yuko System's Japanese Thermal Reconditioning Treatment, and I couldn't be happier with the results.
