Izzy's Restaurant sucks. The restaurant is small. The staff is not the best. The servers are overweight you know that they are eating a lot because Izzy's food is fattening. The guy at the counter is nice but again it's not enough to give this place more than one star. There is no room at all in there. I asked myself all the time why do people even go there? What do they like about this place and their nasty and tasteless food. I still can't believe this place is still open. Let me first say that most hispanic food is gross. It's too salty and taste nasty. Izzy's is a puerto-rican restaurant. Puertoricans can't cook. Why do their food is nasty let me tell you. My mother's friend is a great cook but lately she has been sick and can't cook. She lives next to Izzy's restaurant so she wanted me to order from them couple times. Every single time I was disappointed. She wanted a soup, some meat, I got some plantains, something called a potato fries. The soup was disgusting, it had not salt at all. I want a tasty soup not a soup that tastes like a hospital soup. The meat my goodness how do they get away with that. All of their meat pork, beef, chicken had no taste no salt nothing nada. I rather go to Camie's even if they are not the best haitian restaurant. Haitian can cook puertoricans can't. The rice was plain again no taste at all. The plantains same no salt, tasteless, they added a yellow sauce with it. The sauce tasted like someone threw up in it. Their sweet plantains are so sweet and so greasy, they looked so ugly. That potato fries thing was not yummy, it's called a potato fried and it has meat in it. I wanted a plain potato why did it have meat?? It was so gross it tasted like vomit. Their salad is gross and has too much sauce that of course they did not make. The worst part of their food. One time I had some white rice and beans on the side it was not cooked beans they got the beans from a can. I know my food and I know when is real cooked
