Worst

The worst restaurant by far in Houston, please plan ahead for no parking spots, dirty restrooms, unhelpful staff, non existing service and bad food. I think their real policy is N...

Delicious! 5/6/2003

We tried this place for lunch one Saturday, and loved it so much that we went back for dinner on Sunday! Everything we've tried was very tasty. The stuffed mushrooms are the best, and all of the meats are tender and flavorful. The mixed pide (kind of like a pizza... only better!) was superb. Try the rice pudding for dessert. The prices are a plus also. Most entrees range from 7.99-8.99. Quite a bargain for really excellent food and friendly, helpful service. My new favorite place! more

BIG TASTE IN A LITTLE PACKAGE! 1/10/2003

I had the knowledge that the Turkish food is one of the greatest cuisine in the world.Couple of my friends and i had the chance to try this awesome Turkish food. The mixed appetizer plate was incredible. The pide or pita ??? bread is probably the best bread in town!!! We have ordered a bottle of Turkish Red Wine and it was surprisingly very tasty. We all had different kebaps and shared it. My favourite was iskender kebap. Finally, we have completed our meals with a number one dessert called "" baked rice pudding"" and a Turkish coffee. The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly, kind and informative about the Turkish cuisine and Turkey. The owner of the restaurant is also very friendly gentelman who shared his company with us during our wonderful dinner. We all enjoyed it very much and it was a wonderful experience towards and beyond the Turkish cuisine. Pros: food, service, price Cons: parking more

Love da food 11/1/2002

one of the best turkish food I have had in US. Their bread is soft and fresh. Food is full of flavor and aroma. Adana Kababs (lamb) are very good and their Ezme dip. Pros: Good food, inexpensive, nice location Cons: Few Parking spots more

The food deserved better ambience! 10/6/2002

We ordered the mixed appetizer plate and the mixed grill. The appetizers were great. The pita bread wonderful, and the various meats were fantastic. This is one tasty restaurant. Think something between Greek and Lebanese food with different spices. We had 2 glasses of Turkish white wine, and for desert we split a rice pudding (plenty) and Turkish coffee. $46.50, including the tip. Downside: It feels like a shwarma restaurant in a large middle eastern city. Very bright and stark. It's like a restaurant in the Rice Village of the 70', in contrast to all it's upscale surroundings. Pros: Great food, Great service, Friendly Cons: Stark, Too bright, Small parking lot. more

Little bit of Turkey here in Houston 9/20/2002

I used to live in Turkey and had been looking for a good Turkish resturant, not a middle eastern or greek or indian food, but TURKISH. Found it. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere great and the service is awesome. The people that work there take me back to the kindness I always received from the people whle living in Turkey. Thank you for having a great place to eat. Cons: parking more

I highly recommend this restaurant for good Turkish food. The selection is good and so is the friendly service. If its not on the menu, they will usually try their best to make it for you. Pros: Hummy, Inexpensive, friendly service Cons: Limited parking more
