Islander Pools

Islander Pools recently dealt with a leak I had but they followed up with me so I had to follow up to know whether or not the issue was resolved. They let me know then that hit was taken care of. Then, one of their sales representatives was supposed to show me how to do the pool system but he left the company around that time so it took longer for me to meet someone about the system. They were good and met my expectations. They answered a lot of my questions. This was my first time using Islander Pools. I found out about them through mutual friends. They worked on a landscaping project for us. Everything turned out really well. If they had taken more time, one thing would have turned out a bit better. There were a few delays and I could have used a little more hand-holding on a couple of things so I could make more informed decisions. They are responsive and responsible. Just make sure you know what you want and have all your questions ready to ask them. more

Islander has built 2 pools for us now, both where great experiences!! We had an idea of what we wanted but lacked all the creative ideas. Frank was really helpful in showing us what was possible. His computer system really turned it into a reality for us. Being able to see what the end result was going to be was amazing! We are really happy with the job done by Islander Pools! more

Islander Pools did a whole backyard renovation so they basically blew up my backyard and redid the masonry and entire pool. Everything was upfront, honest, no surprises along the way, and prompt communication. more

I've had two pools built by Islander Pools. The first one was a new construction and the second was a remodel. Both were great experiences from start to finish. No scheduling conflicts and they were always very professional and on time. more

They did a great job. They kept everything clean, and the finished product was as expected. They didn't have to come back and did everything per contract. I really had no problems or complaints. They had to work in an operating shopping center, with businesses and customers, and had no issues. more

Everything went seamlessly. They did a new pool for us, and I don't see any problems at all or anything I would change. They were very flexible. If I had any requests that I didn't mention in the original plan they would still do them. more

They did a good job on the pool install. They are very informative on how to maintain the pool after it's installed. They know their stuff. more

We had a complete pool demolition and installation by Islander. They were very thorough, always on time, and always returned our calls. They did everything they said they would do. more

Islander did a pool, jacuzzi and a few other things in our backyard. Everything turned out well. In terms of Islander, Frank and his workers were all good. The biggest thing I would say for Frank is he needs to make sure the other contractors he works with and refers for other parts of the job live up to the same standards he has. more

Islander Pools did our pool and decking. They came in on time and on budget, which is something we weren't necessarily expecting but are thankful for. It matched up with exactly what they promised from the beginning. more

It started with just getting patio work done and a fire pit, and I took it to getting a pool. He directed everything and got the permits re-drawn, and got the job done. He designed a beautiful pool for us. We've been enjoying our back yard immensely. more

Frank is a great business owner and friend! In the economic downturn I started my dream pool and ended up almost losing my house and the dream backyard I always wanted but Frank worked with me while I mustered up the funds to complete the project. We started with a few plans and were able to create a real masterpiece for a fair price with great attention to detail. The subs he hired were all professional and he made sure I was satisfied the whole way through. I had a pool built about a year and a half ago. I talked to several contractors beforehand, and Islander Pools were the second one I spoke to. They were far superior at selling their company and pool design. Everything they promised was kept, and they kept us updated throughout the process. Dave, the project manager, came out every day to check on the pool. I really couldn't recommend them more. They were a great company to work with. more

Dave was an excellent sales person and totally on the ball with regards to delivering exactly what I asked for. He listened well from the beginning and designed our pool to fit our budget and expectations. Our only complaint was a week after they started where everything was moving fast and communication was good, everything stopped and we didn't see anyone for about three weeks. It would have been nice to have a heads up of what was going on during this time so we didn't feel that we were constantly calling to find out what was going on. So other then the communication during that time and lack of work during that time, everything went smooth. We got our dream pool, and it looks amazing. It was the exact price we budgeted for, and there were no surprises with regard to price. The quality of their work was great and they were very honest about ideas we were going back and forth with, giving us the pros and cons of each thing we were contemplating. Overall, we are very happy with the quality and service that was provided. I also loved the 3-D imaging of exactly what our pool would look like. It was amazing to know what we were going to get up front. more

I highly recommend Islander Pools. They are very experienced and helped me detail my vision of what the pool would look like. They improved my vision of the pool and it turned out way better than what I expected. They are very trustworthy and I felt very comfortable throughout the process. I would not use anyone else. They even have an upfront 3D design program to show you what the pool would be like. This was the deal breaker for me. more
