Just went here for the first time last Friday, and I will definitely be back! I've been waiting for years for a more authentic & affordable tapas place to open in Philly, and I think this is it. I love Amada and everything, but the super-trendy atmosphere and jacked up prices most certainly do NOT make for an authentic tapas experience like I remember in Spain-- Isla Ibiza comes much closer to the real thing. The jamon y queso plate was excellent, as were the scallops, mussels, and croquetas de bacalao. Sangria was very good as well-- not too sweet like I've had at some places. Waitstaff was polite and extremely attentive. I can't wait to go back to try some other items on the menu-- maybe next time I'll go after 10pm, when they offer $5 tapas and $2.50 sangria!
Pros: great food, excellent service, affordable!
Cons: location-- right on Girard Ave
