The selection of games, kites, toys, and what-knot in this fun toystore will bring out the kind in everyone. Unique, fun ,playful gifts is this store's specialty. Something different and interesting in nearly every corner. Even the staff seems to have a good time at Into the Wind. They're located right on the Pearl Street Mall. more

Go fly a kite 8/21/2005

For over 20 years, when you wanted to catch the mountain air, Into the Wind was the place to go. They not only carry kites, but flags and lawn spinners as well. As an added bonus, they're open until 9:30pm in the summer months so that you can take advantage of every minute of summer fun. The staff can help you pick out a kite to fit any skill level as well. more

To call this a kite store is selling it short. Yes, it's a kite store. But it's so much more. Into the wind sells kites - an amazing variety of top-flight kites that I don't even know the first thing about. I've been in the store a hundred times, and I've never shopped for kites. What I shop for is the small cool toys that fill the store - little wind up things, and squeezy things, and puzzle things, and noisy things, and kitschy things. They also carry great selections of yo-yos, marbles, and disc golf discs. more
