I went to Darshita for a facial. She did a awesome job!! I ended up with a haircut and a make over as well. She found a way to work me in. I really like the product that I purchased. She does a great job and along with educating as she is working. I will go back and I recommend Darshita. Great experience! more

Can't get enough of Darshita!! 1/31/2011

I have been a steady threading customer of Darshita's for going on 3 years now. No one else in this world can shape my eyebrows as precisely, consistently, or as fast as she can. I will never let a drop of wax touch these babies again! After 3 years of getting my eyebrows threaded by her, I finally made my first hair cut appointment with her last night. I could not be more pleased with how my cut turned out. It was not only what I wanted, it was better! She does a really great job of teaching you as she goes too. Describing any products she puts in your hair and how best to use it. Darshita's fun-loving spirit and deep sense of professionalism make her the best stylist in town, hands down! more

Love Darshita! 1/25/2011

I had been to two other salons tonight after work and no one could fit me in for a cut, color and highlights. Then I went ot downtown OP, drove past IDS the first time; turned around and went back. I went inside and the Receptionist said everyone was busy for the evening; Darshita overheard her and said No I can take her between processing of the client she was working on then. So I waited a few moments and she took me to her chair. more

loved my hair 12/29/2010

i moved from new york and wanted my hair done and also wanted my eyebrow threading . i had been to other salons and in malls for my brows and was never happy.one of my friend suggested me to go and see DARSHITA.i am so thankful to her of recommending me to darshita because not only i am happy with my brows but also loved my hair cut and color.she was amazing ,very nice consultation and actually educated me about products and how to use them .not only for hair she is wonderful skin care therapist and also does makeup,feels like one stop place for me.i would highly recommend her . more

Darshita was wonderful! 11/7/2010

I went to have an eyebrow threading for the first time with Darshita and the result was amazing. My eyebrows looked great and I received many compliments on them. I also had a facial which was an equally wonderful experience. Darshita was very thorough with her consultation and recommendations regarding my eyebrows as well as my skincare. I will definitely be returning! I highly recommend Darshita. more

Best place for threading 10/9/2010

This is the best place in the metro area for eyebrow threading. Darshita is amazing. She gave me a consultation and tutorial on how to fill in my brows with brow powder. I use Retin A, which means that I can't use wax on my face and threading or plucking are my only options for facial hair removal. After giving her this information, Darshita also recommended a facial that is especially beneficial for my skin type. I booked my next threading appointment AND a facial during checkout. I've been living in the Kansas City area for almost 2 years and mistakenly thought that the only place available for threading was the booths at the mall. So, unfortunately I suffered from poor customer service, and poor skill from the ladies who do eyebrow threading in the mall. Now, that I've found a talented, professional stylist I will NOT settle for less. Seriously, if you want a quality job, book an appointment with Darshita. more

I moved from out of state and was looking for a place that offered eyebrow threading. I found this place on Citysearch and made an appointment. Darshita is the young lady who did my eyebrows. It was quick and painless. She did a fantastic job with my hair as well. more

I came to International Day Spa on the recommendation of a friend. Having curly hair, I'm often nervous to try new places, however, once I sat in Darshita's chair, I knew I was in safe hands. She is an amazing stylists, with tips and tricks to make the most unruly mass of curls behave. If your a curly gurl like me, you definitely need to meet Darshita. more

First Visit At Salon 7/29/2010

Since moving to Kansas from California, I afraid that I could not find anyone to cut my hair as great as my previous stylist. I am a Black woman so I am especially picky about who does my hair and not afraid to a cut & style. Although a stylist was not initially assigned to me when I made my appointment over the phone I was lucky enough to have Darshita cut my hair and perform threading on my eyebrows. She is very nice and let me know what products she put in my hair. In addition, she made sure that were in agreement by repeating what I was looking for in a haircut and eyebrow threading. When Darshita was finished my hair felt light, shiny, and moisturized and at that moment I knew I would return to the salon. I am so happy to have found this place on this website and I will continue to go to this salon as long as I can. Pros: Explanation of products added to hair more

The Quickest and less painful Brazilian waxing 6/20/2010

I had not gotten a Brazilian waxing or my hair done in 2 years and went to Jenny and had a blast she made me feel like i was going to prom. The hair cut was great and the Brazilian was fast and not very painful I've been doing Brazilians for 3 years and my normal lady moved and then I found Jenny. Jenny did it better and faster but most of all I felt comfortable. When she did my hair she didn't just let me leave and try to fix it when I got home. She spent that extra time to teach me even though she could of had anouther clinet Pros: quick and you don't feel uncomfortable Cons: nothing unless your nuts more

I met Darshita where I used to get my hair cut and colored. I checked out her work over time, and have followed her ever since. She's taught me so much about my hair and what's best for my type. (She's like this little educator) Always new, sharp suggestions, and she's the only I trust to to give me a new look. Then she introduced me ""threading"". WOW I love it. Painfree and quick, just the way i like it. I highly recommend Darshita for any service. Professional, polite and she listens closely. PS She gives an AWESOME massage and very refreshing facials. I almost don't want to write this review because I don?t want to share Darshita! But, she is awesome and everyone should know it. Darshita has been my hairstylist for about 2 years and I followed her from that other place to International Hair & Day Spa. I tried threading for the first time about 6 months ago, and now I'm hooked! But the thing I've been most impressed with is actually her hair coloring! I never really know exactly what I want to do with my hair and she helped me figure out what I wanted and what would look good on me and gave me the perfect highlights! She also gives great trims and never takes off more than you want. She never pushes you out the door- always takes her time to style your hair and make sure it looks good before you leave. Darshita is very personable, kind, and honest. She's easy to talk to, even for those of us who aren't big talkers. Darshita is simply the best, and although I don't want to share her, I definitely recommend her! Pros: Awesome at threading and coloring more

Glad I tried threading 5/7/2010

Several of my friends have really been talking up eyebrow threading so I decided to give it a try. None of them lived nearby to suggest the places that they went to for the service so I headed online to find somewhere in Overland Park. Thankfully I found International Hair! Darshita really took the time to discuss what I wanted done with my hair and the whole threading process. I am used to feeling rushed out the door in other salons, but not this one. I left with great eyebrows, great hair and some nice hair products! Pros: nice staff and comfortable atmosphere Cons: tips cannot be charged to a credit card more

I visited International Hair and Day Spa with the intent of finding someone that did threading! I was lucky to find Darshita!! She is a professional. I had a wonderful experience and love the results! She does hair styling and makeup too. I drove approx....an hour and it was worth it! Pros: Awesome service and done in a professional manner! more

Darshita is an expert eyebrow threader. I recently relocated to the Kansas City area from L.A. and I have never found anyone to do my eyebrows as good as she does them. Darshita does great eyebrow threading and it lasts much longer than waxing. She is very welcoming and professional. My mom and sister also get their eyebrows done by Darshita. She does hair styling and makeup too. I am so glad I found her, she is awesome! more

I had been searching to find Darshita and luckily found out she was here. This place is much more welcoming and comfortable than ""the other place"" she worked at. My friends cannot get over how great my brows look after I see her. Darshita also does great styling and does bridal makeup too! Come here to be pampered and look GREAT!
