Excellent Experience 11/11/2014

I was referred by a friend and glad they passed along the recommendation. They were honest and gave me a quote that was more competitive than others I had received. The work was done efficiently and beyond satisfactory. I am more than pleased with the results and the price I paid. Recommended by a neighbor for a reason. 10/1/2013

I had a broken spring on my garage door and was given Independent Overhead Doors' name by a neighbor who had used them before. This neighbor highly recommended them, so I made the call to have them come out. Independent definitely took care of things. more

Extremely knowledgeable in his craft and a consummate professional. On time and fixed the problem. I have had a problem with my wooden garage door for over 2 years, had other's out but never fixed correctly. The door completely came off the rails. Doug not only got my garage door working and back on track but fixed it correctly. My 8 year garage door is like new again, thanks Doug. more

Woke up this morning to a broken torsion spring - called Doug at approx 8:30, he as at my house by 9:30 and done with repairs by 10. Would 100 recommend. Thanks Doug! more

Showed up right on time! 6/4/2012

I called Independent Overhead Doors on Saturday and I was looking for someone available for the weekend. He actually called me back and said he could do it Sunday after church, which was great because I had things going on on Saturday afternoon. He came out at 2 o'clock and showed up right on time. He replaced the part, and I was back in business. Independent Overhead Doors worked on a load spring, and replaced it in 30-45 minutes at most! more

Independent Overhead Doors saved us money by not having to replace panels of the door but actually fixing the door itself. I found it very helpful, they were communicative, and I am very happy with that. more

Independent Overhead Doors did a great job. They replaced the garage. We've had no problems and they were very professional. Independent Overhead Doors gave us a great price and we chose them because of their price. We had also been recommended to Independent Overhead Doors by a neighbor. They're worth calling to come out and give a price! more

Independent Overhead Doors seems very conscientious in taking care of our needs. I keep going back to them because they take care of us! If I had a higher number to rate Independent Overhead Doors I would use it. My experience with them was smooth and quick. They made adjustments to their schedule to fit mine, and got it done quick! There was no hassle. Everything was smooth and clean in the operation. There was stuff that I didn't even know was wrong and they fixed it. more

In the past year, I've used Independent Overhead Doors on two different occasions. I was working on refurbishing two homes and both of the garage doors had been knocked off their tracks and the hardware had gotten all twisted and chewed up. I called Doug, because I'd used him for work at my own home and he'd always done a good job there. He was able to come right out. He got everything fixed up in hardly anytime at all. Doug is one of those hard to find business owners. He arranged his schedule around mine. Told me that he could repair my garage opener with no problem, but I decided to have a new one installed on my own. He did not try to sell me a new one or any other stuff that most garage door companies do! Doug was very neat and my wife loves the new install... GREAT JOB DOUG! I tell everyone about you.. I had actually contacted another company and was working with somebody else, however I was not at all satisfied with their customer service and they were really lacking response time and were limited in their time frame. I found Independent Overhead Doors and called them. I explained my issue to Doug, and he let me know that he could help me out and offered to come out that same day for an estimate. I thought that was just great! He met me and determined he could do the work that same day! I was more than pleased with everything! He is reasonably priced, consistent with his work and provides great customer service! I've already recommended him to a few of my friends and would definitely use his services in the future! more

We first heard about Independent Overhead Doors from a neighbor. Based on the good things the neighbor said, and the fact that they were a little better priced than another quote we had, we decided to go with them. Besides that, they just seemed like nice guys, and we liked them, and the work they did. They were amazing! more

I'll I got from Independent Overhead Doors was a new motor. I didn't really look into the cost, but I guess it was a good value. It was a good experience. Doug was great! He came on time, said what he was gonna do, then he did it, left in a timely manner, and everything was great! more

Efficient and fairly priced. 7/5/2011

I know Doug, from Independent Overhead Doors, personally, and he has helped me in a couple areas. I have used him twice over the last 3 or 4 years. He is always very efficient, and he is there when he says he will be. He is also fair in his price. I can't ask for anything more. Everything has always been fine. Doug tells us what to expect ahead of time. For instance, this time everything matched perfectly from the outside, but it didn't have matching insulation on the inside. He pointed out the difference to us, and there was not a problem. Doug is very efficient. He is there when he says he will be, he communicates well, he job the job done in good time, and it was a fair price. I really appreciate that in this day and age.
