I have been going to Staci for many months now and was pleased with the cuts I received until my a few days ago. She asked if she could blow dry it straight before cutting and thinning it. My hair is curly and thick, with the main layer falling at my jaw line and the remaining length at my shoulder. I reminded her not to cut it too short and said yes because she is a professional stylist. HUGE mistake! She cut a chunk of my hair on one side to the middle of my ear, which is now two inches shorter than the other side. I have been told that the hair in back looks as if it had been cut in a blender.
She apologized and asked what I wanted to do about it. I said that I didn’t think I should pay for it and wanted her to even up my hair as best as possible. She agreed and we made an appointment for the next day. Later that day she called me back and told me that her manager said that I could either have my money back or they could try and repair the damage, but NOT both. Apparently money is of more concern to the owners than their reputation or customer satisfaction.
Staci is rated as one of their better stylist and while she is very nice, she clearly does not possess the necessary skills. I have had bad haircuts before but at least they were even and blended. It will take at least a year to get my hair even close to where it was. Let my bad experience serve as a warning for all who think that their stylist can do no wrong. If your stylist wants to cut your hair in a manner different from what you have had in the past, ask for opinions from other stylist before saying yes. You could save yourself a lot of grief.
