In years past, Ihloff was always regarding as a very exclusive salon/spa. The stylists exhibited not only talent, but class in the ways they both dressed and wore their own hairstyles. During my past few visits, I have noticed how sloppy many dress and wear their hair. Personally, I am turned off by the display of tattoos and purple hair. For the prices I pay at this salon, I expect a touch of class from beginning to end. Trendy is okay, but too much is way over the top and really brings the Ihloff image down. I must say that I have never been to the Utica salon, but I do hope that the stylists display a little more discretion in their manner of dress and hairstyles at that location. As for the quality of work, some stylists are better than others, as in any salon. But, there have been occasions where I felt that I could have gotten the same result at supercuts. When I used to hear the name "Ihloff," I instantly thought of a high-end, exclusive place. Now, I am not so sure.
