Always delicious. We have friends who come from all over to go out to Ice house with us. My mother- in- law says the fried seafood plate ""tastes like it tastes in your dreams."" Try the calamari with poblanos! more

Delicious food, Great atmosphere, Wonderful service, This is your place. Weather is a long quiet dinner or a snack and a beer by the water, the ice house provides the perfect setting for both. The outstanding wings or the made to order soups will start you off right before indulging in one of the wonderful entrees offered. The specials menu is always fantastic and the deals that are presented weekly will have you wondering how they do it. Recently enjoyed the soft shell crab which was one of the best I've had. So if your looking to sit by the water for a nice long meal or running in and out for a wrap and some fresh cut American fries this is the spot for you. more

This restaurant is outstanding offering menu selections that are not only delicious they are very creative and mouth watering from other traditional Italian restaurants. Their Lobster Bisque soup is so tasty it beats any Cape Cod restaurant. The Lobster turnovers are a meal in itself and outstanding and the calamari pablemo is excellent. This place has a very diversified tasty menu offering Italian and American dishes you truly don't want to miss and the settings on the water are beautiful. I drive down from CT just to go to this restaurant because the food is that good. You will never leave this restaurant hungry that's for sure. more

Absolutely the best venue in the 6/10/2012

Absolutely the best venue in the Throggs Neck area with an adjacent waterfront view. A delicious, reasonably priced menu that has home-style dishes for families, friends and community. The staff is pleasant and friendly providing excellent service with a smile. I recommend it to everyone!!!! I will be back again many times to come. more

From the food to the service, it was a very good. Highly recommend the lobster bisque-delicious and creamy! The steak selection is good and at wonderful prices...especially now a days having a steak dinner out can cost a small fortune. But, here at Ice House, I'd say, everything here on the menu is affordable and good! more

I was helping a friend.she needed a place for about 35 people. She had friends & family visiting from out of town for a family emergency. the reviews I read were all positive and the price was so much better than other restaurants in the neighborhood. So, I thought go for it. The food was great and the atmosphere is very friendly... It was perfect for a family gathering. we showed up with about 50 people and they were able to accommodate us. the only problem was not even theirs...google directions are not clear for out of towners. the address listed on the site is not the actual physical address, and though google maps instruct one to take 177th street, they really mean the service road for rt 295,,,out of towners would not know that..though the map shows it clearly, I will definitely return for a dinner date with my husband . more

Awesome steak special!! 12/8/2011

This has become one of my favorite restaurants in the bronx. I used to eat at Patricia""s but the last few times I was there the food was awful and so was the service. Found the Icehouse by accident and its my new favorite place. The steak special is unbeatable at $25.00 for an entire meal and no one has clams on the half shell for $6.00 a dozen. The view of the bridge at night is breathtaking. The food and service are always excellent. Give it a try. I promise you'll love it. more

Best wings is an understatement. 9/14/2011

After dining at the Icehouse tonight to try their famous wings that I heard so much about, I was more than pleasantly surprised. To say the wings are the best in the Bronx is an understatement. They are the best in the world. I couldn't stop with just the wings so I had to sample some other items on the extensive menu. more
