90% Improvement 9/15/2010

When I turned 17, I started having severe migraines. I was tested for all kinds of causes of pain. Before coming to IPPMC, I was seen by Neurology, Rheumatology, and Physical Therapy for six months. My headaches incapacitated me at work and in my home life. One year ago I could not get out of bed or go to work. I became so depressed I thought of harming myself because of the pain. I was seen at IPPMC and after three visits, I can say that my whole life has changed. I have 90% improvement of my symptoms. This is the first time that I have gone without headaches since I was 17 year old. Thanks IPPMC more

What A Great Feeling 9/13/2010

For more than four years I have experienced chronic pelvic pain. Two urologists diagnosed my condition as prostatitis. Their recommendation was antibiotic therapy. I tried this to no avail. After my first visit and procedure with Dr. Kowalkowski, I can say that my pelvic pain is nearly gone. I went from a condition where pain controlled my life to a new level where my life is almost pain free. What a great feeling! more

Sure He Can Help 9/8/2010

I suffered a very long time with nerve pain in the front rib cage. When I saw Dr. Kowalkowski’s add in the St. Cloud Times I made an appointment and saw him the first day he opened his clinic. I’m now without pain. If you’re having chronic pain don’t hesitate to see him. I’m sure he can help you. more

Before meeting Dr. Kowalkowski at Interventional Pain & Physical Medicine Clinic, I was unable to attend my college classes, leave my house, or interact with my friends because of facial pain. I had seen multiple doctors in the St. Cloud and Minneapolis area including the Mayo Clinic for evaluation no one was able to help me. Dr. Kowalkowski was able to significantly reduce my pain and this has allowed me to function in society. more

It was the only place that helped me after twelve years of pain. Previous to my visit at the Interventional Pain & Physical Medicine Clinic, I had been to multiple clinics and received surgery and multiple therapies with minimal benefit. I am now able to enjoy a better quality of life. more

relief 8/9/2010

After suffering from knee pain I finally found relief at the Interventional Pain Clinic after treatments by Dr. Kowalkowski. I'm able to spend hours in my garden, run up and down steps, and get in and out of the car, exercise and bike! I even put in ceramic floor tile! Because my knee pain is now under control my hips, back and feet cease to be a problem. I'm so happy to have found a way to manage my pain. It's changed my life more

Dr. Thomas Kowalkowski was sensitive to my pain and pursued treating my pain. I never felt like a number, I always felt like a person. This is the best I have felt in 4 years. I am able to enjoy life again more

I had a VP shunt placed for a pseudo- tumor. I was told that I developed scar tissue along my shunt. I was told that I would have to live with my pain. I came to see Dr. Thomas Kowalkowski and I was treated. The treatments have worked remarkably. I can now sleep on the right side of my head. more

I have been to extensive therapies including acupuncture, physical therapy, chiropractic therapy, and nothing seemed to help my pain. I visited IPPMC; in one visit my pain was gone. more

100% Improvement 7/13/2010

I have had foot pain off and on for years which I have had neuroma surgically removed.  I had difficulty walking because of constant foot pain with pressure.  I was able to receive conservative treatment at IPPMC for my feet and currently have 100% improvement of my foot pain.  It is nice to know that there is further treatment options for this pain that has affected my function. more

Over the last 25 years I have been dealing with chronic pain and have been seen at practically every pain clinic in Minnesota.  I want to express my satisfaction with IPPMC and their Chronic Pain Program.  This program covered all the bases and it has prevented me from having neck and back surgery.  I have also been able to reduce my opioid use and I have a clearer head.  The team is friendly and very modern. more
