There were 4 of us for lunch on a rainy Sunday in August. (Note: Anything indoors on a rainy weekend day during summer tourist season in Kennebunkport is going to be packed, and probably not too speedy.)
We waited about 5 minutes for a table and were seated at a high top in the bar area. The late lunch menu was good, creative and pretty fairly priced. Our party had the following: The lobster chowder ($13 for a bowl) was a standout. Really, really good. Highly recommended. The half pound bar burger ($10, w/ fries or sweet potato fries.) was okay. The grilled crabmeat & havarti on sourdough sandwich ($13 w same fry choice as the burger) was very good. I had the house-made tuna pastrami small plate ($12) which was quite tasty.
The pace of the meal was leisurely, but as I mentioned before, we expected that. The service was good and I would go here again - and definitely order the lobster chowder.
