Fun bar 4/16/2006

The pianists here are good musicians and fun with a crowd. They have a good sense of humor, and try to get the crowd involved as much as possible. My husband was made a bit uncomfortable, though, as they spent a lot of time making fun of the song he requested. They never did play the song, even though he had left a tip when requesting it. I'm not sure if that is something they commonly do, but he was a bit down after than happened. However, that didn't keep us from going back. more

Fun with dueling pianos 4/13/2006

In spite of the fact that Howl at the Moon is in Power Plant (where most of the patrons tend to be about 21 or 22), it is a fun place with a diverse crowd. The piano guys are amazing and know any song...and for the right price will play on request. It can get to be pricey, between the cover, the drink charges, and paying for requests, but it is a great place to let loose, have fun, and belt out a tune. more

Comedy and dueling piano at its finest. 2/28/2006

Howl At the Moon is a fabulous place to go for a night out--food and drinks are a little pricey, however for the entertainment you get, it's a good deal. Howl At the Moon is a dueling piano bar--they have some of the most talented improvisational piano players I've ever seen. And on top of it, they're absolutely hilarious. They take requests, so you can have anything you want played--although a tip helps. It's a popular place to take bachelorette parties, college kids, and folks from out of town. more

Howl at the Moon 2/16/2006

I absolutely loved this sing-along piano bar. The dueling pianists are not only extremely talented and versatile, but are just downright hysterical! Prices for food and drink aren't too bad, but the best deals are for happy hour and private parties. If you love singing along to your favorite songs (and don't mind being singled out for a solo every once in awhile), you'll love Howl at the Moon! When a group of my friends and I intended to try out all of Power Plant Live, we ended up never leaving Howl! more

Fun bar, great happy hours! 9/20/2005

This bar is a piano bar in Powerplant Live that features dueling pianos. It gets loud and raucous but that's what makes it fun! You can sign up to win a happy hour party (everyone who signs up gets one) and you get to invite something like 50 people. With this you get two free drinks and free food! After your free drinks you get specially priced drinks that are still a good value. A really great place and definitely a fun place to go as a group. more
