They painted my seats... 9/16/2010

This place is a joke. In six months my range rover was there 12 times to fix a water leaks. all they kept doing was fixing what was damaged and not the source of the problem. In the process the trashed my leather seats, They attempted to fix it by painting over the damage. When confronted they said they would replace the leather but when it came time to do that they refused and said all they will do is repaint over there handy work again with a color that matches better. Not to mention on two different occasions items were stolen out of the vehicle. They are so unprofessional , they have forgotten about my truck being there and it sat for a week , another time they lost the truck and I actually had to go there and found it in the used car sales lot. A exterior trim piece kept coming loose and they told me it was designed that way so that when offroad it wouldn't get damaged, I ended up going to another dealer to get it fixed. Everytime I went there when I picked up the truck there was more wrong then when I dropped it off, I have given up and am living with there damage. I wish landrover would step up and make it right. more

Went for a $30 oil change and got an offer for a $1240 of un 4/12/2009

I will never step foot in there again. (check on Yelp for other unfortunate costumers reviews) BEWARE of high pressure customer service, they will try to persuade you to purchase unnecessary maintenance and parts. I checked on line for the original parts that they wanted to replace and saw a difference of more than 200%. AFTER 5 DAYS The plastic undercarriage (the protector for the oil filter compartment ) just fell while driving with a terrible noise. I had to buy bolts and washers and screw it in by myself because they failed to tighten them and even left 3 bolts off. Auto Zone helped me with the replacement parts after it was towed. I will have to go to another place to make sure no other surprises are awaiting. Pros: Wifi and nice couches in waiting room. Cons: Scam artist more

Great personal service when buying a used car 4/3/2009

I just bought a used car RIGHT before having my third child. I was in a time crunch and the staff at Howard Orloff found me the perfect used car for what I needed. Very pregnant and toting two other small kids, the staff was wonderful, patient, friendly, helpful with my kids, and fun to deal with. They made what could have been a stressful experience a very fun and exciting time of buying a new car. They took so much time to help me and field my numerous questions, got my trade in ready, helped with the financing, and took lots of timem to explain the car. Quality Car Service 2/23/2009

We have been taking our family Volvo to Howard Orloff Jaguar Volvo LandRover for service over the last two years. We recently took the car in for bodywork as a result of damage caused by vandalism. We are completely satisfied with the bodywork and the quality of service provided by the this dealership. The staff are courteous and all work has been completed on schedule. I highly recommend Howard Orloff to other car owners. more

I have had outstanding experiences with Howard Orloff dealership over many, many years. We have bought several cars, both new (for my wife and me) and used (for my daughter) and we have enjoyed all the vehicles. I find the sales people to be incredibly helpful (and not pushy) and the service staff is first rate. I find their team is always willing to help and there is a sincere interest in treating their customers with respect and appreciation. Importantly, I have recommended the Howard Orloff dealership to many friends (and relatives) and know they have had excellent experiences as well. These people are amazing, after buying 5 (2 Jags, 1 Rover, 1 Volvo, and 1 used) cars, they have treated me like a real person. No gimmicks, no non-sense, just up-front, blunt and honest. I love them. 10 Years of exce10 years of excellent service 2/21/2009

I have been a Orloff customer for the last 10 years, over the years I have purchased a 1988 Volvo 240, a 2001 Volvo S60, a 2002 Lexus RX300, and a 2002 BMW X5. Each and every time I have purchased a car here I have been treated like a King, with the utmost respect. Even though I have purchased used cars, they have treated me like I was buying a $100,000 Jaguar. The salesman Mike Lotito has been my guy since the beginning, and he has been great, he helps me set up service appointments, and checks in every once in a while to see how everything is. Orloff?s service department has ALWAYS been extremely professional. I stress always, because I reed all the negative reviews on these websites, and I feel people need to know from a long time customer that Orloff really is a wonderful dealership, I have been to other high end dealerships in the city, and none of them live up to Orloff kindness and professionalism. I purchased two used cars from Orloff Motors and I can tell you that they were absolutely honest and good people to deal with. In fact, in one case, they repaired an item on the car, which was not even under warranty and with no cost to me. There is no better car dealership in the entire Chicago area! more

Horrible service department!! Go somewhere else! 12/9/2008

Horrible customer service in the service department! I've been there 3 times and every time is the same or worse. To make a long story short and among other things, last time they tried to bill me for more than they should. They said the would credit my card for the difference on Monday because it was Saturday which didn't make any sense to me so I made them state and sign the difference they owed me on the invoice. Thanks God I did that because no credit have been posted so far. I'll have to dispute it through my credit card. Tried to complain with the manager who was supposed to get back to me but no response so far. I learned the lesson and never will come back there.Don't ask for troubles and stay away from these people! more
