Hour Glass the

I've been a customer of the Hour Glass for many years. A few months ago I spent about $160 on some prescription sunglasses only to return to today for my daughter's appointment and had the worst experience ever. To make a long story short, a high parking block and a low clearance on a car caused my front bumper to be almost completely torn from car. However, the manager, Collette, was quick to let me know that the Hour Glass was not responsible or be covering any of the damages. I'm certain the money from billing my insurance and out of pocket expenses that have been paid to the Hour Glass was ten times more the damages to my car. It's clear that have no sense of customer loyalty, doing the right thing or what good business sense really means. Needless to say, I will not be returning to the Hour Glass nor do I recommend them to anyone so the chances of me continuing to shop locally are slim to none. more

I had a horrible eye infection one saturday, and they were the ONLY place open to give me an exam/medicine/glasses prescription. Their prices were very reasonable too! I was very happy overall with the experience. The boy who helped me pick out glasses was very nice and patient, and the total time after picking out my glasses until they were made was about 45 minutes (and this was on a VERY busy saturday afternoon). I also went in without an appointment and was seen within an hour. more
