Hong Kong Restaurant is oen of the odlest haunts in Cambridge. Go there at midnight, and you feel that middle of the day energy as if the palce were really running on Hong Kong local time. Every familair Chinese dish can be whipped up for you in just minutes, yet you can linger at the tables unitl closing.
They do not experiment too much with their menu but then again, the Hong Kong has always been that ready standby. Acast in a world that closes at 1 am
the Hong Kong can feed you unitl two. stay around Harvard Square long enough, and the Hong Kong will rescue you from that late night pangs. Upstairs, of course, there is the other world -- a jumping bar that feels more like a joint in Macao that Harvard Square.
It's Harvard students of course blowing off more steam than a stream engine. It is a hard dirnking, chain smoking crowed but heh -- this is macao. If you want
quaint, go back out into the Square.
