I interviewed half a dozen contractors for a kitchen and living room remodel project and Home Source Construction was a very easy pick. Matt Davenport is a very honest guy and he really knows the construction/remodeling business. His timeline was faster and his costs were lower than any of the other companies I interviewed. And I never had the slightest concern giving Matt a key to the house or writing him a large check. I usually feel like I need to be very involved in large projects like a kitchen remodel but I was so confident in Matt's project management skills that it was like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. I'm very grateful that he wasn't shy about calling me and asking when a decision needed to be made - every little detail is exactly how I want it, down to the very last light-switch placement. He even let us add on extra work like wiring the house for internet while we had holes in the wall and painting a couple of extra areas while the painters were out. It was great working with Matt; the whole process was a lot of fun and it was so quick we hardly had time to feel cramped living in only half of the house. We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen and living room! We get nothing but compliments when we have guests over. We're already planning our next project to hire Home Source Construction for :-) more

I have had Matt work on both my home as well as my rental property. In every case he has been extremely reliable and easy to work with. He just came through in a pinch for me by getting his plumber out on the same day to replace a water heater on the rental property. He is easy to reach (which is rare) and does exactly what he says he will. He is definitely my first choice. more

We moved into a house built in the 80's, the kitchen had GREEN cabinets and cheesy cheap countertops, the walls were way too many different colors, the carpet was gross and the hardware needed updating. The owner of the company, Matt, came in & was very thorough, asked a lot of questions so he knew exactly what we were wanting, and had patient explanations for my many questions. He sent us a bid the very next day. His bid was not the cheapest, but he was the most professional, and we were willing to pay for trustworthiness and quality. It turns out our instincts were right, he & his crews came in & had EVERYTHING done the EXACT day he said they would. AND under budget! He tried to GIVE US MONEY BACK! Needless to say we were shocked, and so pleased with his work and the outcome that we told him to keep it, he deserved it. We would have paid him more we were so impressed. I had heard so many construction contractor horror stories, with Home Source it was effortless. Our house is exactly what we were wanting, all to perfection. There were no short cuts taken and absolutely no regrets. I would recommend Home Source Construction to anyone. They will certainly be our lifetime contractor for anything we may ever need. Home Source Construction nabbed our kitchen remodeling project business because they had the planning and personal feel I was looking for. From blueprint design all the way through project installation, with a main focus on customer satisfaction, Matt Davenport, Home Source Construction owner / operator, lives out his commitment to perfection as does his hard working crew. I enjoyed being a necessary part of the kitchen remodeling and design processes, making my selections of cabinet styles/wood/finish, tile, inserts, and hardware in the Home Source Construction design studio. As with many home construction projects, we had a number of issues pop up. Matt and his crew were professional and highly responsive on how to handle things best. Issues were resolved in a timely fashion and the crew never lost sight of what they hold most high...customer satisfaction. I truly appreciated them being so tuned in to what I was feeling about any number of issues we faced. No project is completed without flaws, so for example I would have recommended the crew(sub-contrators) get involved a bit earlier. Additionally, we had a time-lapse in our schedule between demolition of the kitchen to the start of the actual construction process, so it would be nice to have this timed better to keep the customer in tune to what is going to be happening next. My wife and I are thrilled with our newly remodeled kitchen, and we would recommend Home Source Construction to anyone looking for smooth running kitchen remodeling job.
