My Husband and I used Historic and Distinctive Homes to sell our property and purchase a condo. Karen and Robert met with us several times, guiding us through the listing process. As Karen handled selling our house (in less than a week) Bob spent several long nights and weekends showing us different properties. They do protect their clients. Unfortunately, people do not have an agent that will or can fully explain the legialities of the contracts, but the Historic and Distictive Home clients have access to dedication and legal knowledge. I highly recommend them to anyone. more

Just a footnote on Judy H. Comments: This lady never worked with us, she was not our client, and she is using second hand information that is inaccurate and not correct. We stand up for our clients and we prevented them from breeching a contract they had agreed to and tried to back out of. No one ever swore or threaten, this was simply enforcing contract law, and we go to bat for our clients!! Our sweet couple had a contract and we were simply reminding their agent about what their seller Judy H. had signed. more

I have had a horrible experience with this company. Totally unprofessional ! We were the sellers of a home and the Hoff's son brought a client to our agent. We came down a considerable amount on the price because the buyers were only proved for that amount. We agree on an amount then the son kept coming up with items he wanted us to pay. When we refused ms..Hoff' called our agent screaming obscenities - rightly our agent hung up the phone! Then immediately mr hoff called with the same attitude. What were we doing to their son? The son is in his 30's - so where is the problem here?\r Please NEVER use this company! Go with larger more professional agency. These people have a lot to learn about how to treat people! Our agent was with Exit realty greatly great people! This is what happened to me so this is my option of historic & distinctive homes - really bad. more

Historic and Distinctive Homes is the last place I would look for a realtor in East Nashville. The owner, Karen Hoff, is completely unprofessional and irresponsible towards a property/apartment she owns/agent for in regards to a dog that is left to bark for hours in a small area. You would think a family of realtors would be respectful to the fact people want to use their homes and backyards to live, work, eat and sleep without a dog loudly barking all the time. My pet is socialized and given the attention it needs. I will stick with realtors that contribute to making Lockeland Springs an enjoyable place to live. Extremely strange and disrespectful experience. more

Their team knows East Nashville and likely sells more homes in a month than most sell in a year or more. Karen is so high energy and makes sure that deals get done. We first bought a home from them years ago and recently, they helped us purchase an investment property in Cleveland Park. Their office has moved over there and they are now the experts on this up and coming neighborhood. more
