I know Higgins is good, because I work there. I know that the food is purchased from local organic growers and farmers, and that we have absolutely no storage for cans, so nothing comes out of one. I know that we smoke our own meats, including prosciutto that is aged for more than a year. I know that the chefs spend hours cleaning everyday, and they come in before the sun comes up to serve you for lunch.
And I know that the wait staff are all professionals, not just people with a job. This includes bussers.
Greg Higgins has won the James Beard award for outstanding chef and he has been nominated three times as well.
From management, to staff to the freshest food available, Higgins is the best restaurant available.
