Being young and newly married my husband and I shared a car for 8 months. While we made it work, when we decided to move to California, we knew we would need more than one car. We had heard great things about Hewlett from friends so we decided to pay them a visit. We met Ben Roberts the first day. He gave us his card, and didn't pressure us when we told him we were only browsing. We came back a second time with intentions of looking further and asked for Ben. Ben was knowledgable and very helpful. We told him what we were looking for and he delivered. While we didn't buy the car that day or even the next time we went in, there was urgency and excitment from Ben, but never pushiness or pressure. I went in and was greeted warmly by the staff at VW. My sales person, Andreas, helped get me a fantastic deal on a new Tiguan. Him and his managers worked very very hard all day on Saturday to accommodate what I could afford. Things didnt quite work out on Saturday, however Monday morning, Andreas called me back and they worked at getting me my Tiguan and guess what, I got it! My wife and I purchased our first volkswagen this week from Hewlett, a Jetta Sportswagen. Having visited quite a number of other car dealerships in the last week searching for the perfect make and model, we had interacted with many sales people, some of whom were pushy right from the beginning, asking for contact information, our life's story, and why we wanted to get a car right then--which often seemed invasive and manipulative. In contrast, the people we interacted with at Hewlett were all highly courteous and professional. What we appreciated about Tom Worsham was his low-key approach, focused on the details of the car we were interested in. The negotiation process was surprisingly enjoyable, and (although we'll never really know!) we feel like we got a good deal on the car. No complaints at all about the experience, and we would definitely recommend Hewlett to friends and family. more

We just purchased our 3rd VW from Russell Blackstone at Hewlett VW in Georgetown and couldn't be happier. My husband has always driven VWs and after his 68 Squareback died unexpectedly 4 years ago we stopped at another VW dealer in Austin who wouldn't give us the time of day. We drove all the way to Georgetown and were fortunate enough to meet Russell Blackstone. Devastated over this sudden loss of his VW I have to say it was a stressfull day and we were not looking forward to buying a new car from someone we didn't know. To our surprise Russell listened carefully to what we were wanting, what our budget limits were and what our family needs were and got us an excellent deal on a Jetta Sportswagon. We just traded that in back in Nov 2009 for a Passat and just traded in my Nissan Pathfinder for a 2011 Tiguan. We couldn't be happier with the whole experience and process of getting the new car. Russell is by far the most knowledgeable and professional car salesman we have ever met. He truly cares about his customers and their needs and listens intently to what you want in a car. We won't buy a VW from any other dealership and Russell is OUR salesman! As for service, we have never had a problem with the service deprartment and have found them to always be friendly, polite and helpful. Expecting your first child has its share of positive and negative stressors. Car-buying, without question, should not be one of the negative ones. With my fiancee and I needing to start looking at purchasing a new(er) vehicle for the family-to-be, the Jetta was a natural choice. I've owned 3 Jettas in the past with great success, including experiencing first-hand why it's often rated a top safety pick (thank you airbags!). I definitely consider myself lucky to have had the pleasure of working with Tom Worsham in Hewlett's sales department. Tom's character is quite the opposite of what you might consider the quintessential sales-type, in that he was always easy-going and amicable in his demeanor. Working with Tom, you will understand quickly that he is absolutely genuine in everything he does. He was educated on the cars, open-minded in his approach, and ultimately dedicated in his time invested. He was quick to return my calls, emails, or make himself available at the dealership when needed: What more could you ask for? Working with Tom was a pleasure and I would recommend his services to anyone looking for a new or used VW. My credit is less-than-perfect (read: downright terrible), so I suspected it would be difficult to get approved for a newer vehicle that was worry-free, but these guys made it happen.
