I LOVE Herbana! I've been to several diiferent spas and I must say that they are the best. I felt pampered from the moment I walked in. The massage was pure bliss and I just can't say enough about the Indian Head Massage. I also had a facial and I'm in love with the way my skin feels. The rooms are beautiful and relaxing and the tables are incredibly comfortable. I'll definitely be back! more

Highly recommend! 2/8/2012

I went to Herbana yesterday for their ""Herbana bliss"" massage with Liz. Her massage was both therapeutic and relaxing. I've had many massages and I can say that this is one of the best I've ever had! The room was the perfect temperature, dimly lit, rose petals are scattered around and the massage table was so comfortable. Their prices are great and not overpriced. Sara, Bree, Liz and the entire staff are genuine and some of the best in their field. They have an easy online appointment system now too. I really feel ""detoxed"" and can't wait to go back again. more

Highly recommend 12/16/2011

I recently treated myself to a facial with Julie and a massage with Liz. It was such a wonderful treat, and I made a promise to not let so much time pass in between appointments. I was so relaxed when I left. Though I was running late, my services were for the full length of time. I really appreciated that. There are so many things they do @ Herbana that makes it stand out from other spas. They really take the time to educate you on body care, skin care and products, yet never pressuring you to buy anything. That is important to me because I hate to buy something just for it to sit in the closet. If you are looking for a relaxing, unique spa experience in the Clear Lake area, give Herbana a try. You won't regret it. I am already thinking about making my next appointment. more

Indian Head Massage was Wow! 4/27/2011

I drove to Herbana from central Houston because I read the citysearch raves. I wanted to see if it was all that. I decided to try the Holistic Treatment of a Indian Head Massage for 20 min for $30. Walking into the hall was like walking into another world. Herbana is a small salon but it is beautifully decorated in what I call Asian Pottery Barn which I like. \r \r They play the Chinese flute music in the hall and waiting room at the back so you are already in a relaxing mood when you get to your room. Appt. was scheduled and organized. Room was dark but not too dark, counter in room had asian rocks and candles burning and crystals. A nice chair, I did not feel clostrophobic like I usually do in those rooms. Then I was able to lay fully dress for the head massage on a beautifully laid bed with two blankets. \r \r Brie used the ""Stress Relief"" customized oil for my therapy. She held her hands above my face and let me inhale and clear my sinuses with the essential oil fumes. She held face neck and head pressure points and scrubed my hairline. Massaged and pulled my hair to stimulate my scalp. I had never felt anything like it. I left feeling tension relief and the emotions of my mind were calm. They were so calm I just wanted to lay down and take a nap. It was as if my whole body had been massaged. And the cool thing was, I went on 25% dicount Wednesday so it all only cost me $22.50. VERY RESONABLE. more

So-So 11/10/2010

I have visited this spa for years. I have even scheduled "girls day out" there. I absolutely love the spa tub!!!! My only concer with is spa is that there does not seem to be any consistency with the therapists. Just when I think I have a good one; by the time I come back for my next visit which was ususally quarterly the therapist was no longer with the company. Bomber! more

Great Spa!..Wonderful Customer Service!!.. 10/6/2010

OMG!!..My husband got us a package for our anniversary and I am so glad he chose this place!..This was my first time ever going to a spa and from the moment I walked in I was treated like Royalty!..I received a Awesome facial from Rian and her hands are Excellent!!..Very Friendly girl and a great Spirit!.My boyfriend had Julie and she put him to sleep with her touch and soft pleasant voice! We did a couples massage with Jordan and Sara and those girls were friendly and Magnificant at what they do!!..We also did a Reiki treatment which I was a little nervous at first but Bree is a awesome pro at making you feel comfortable and relaxed, she also did reflexology on my feet, and between us conversing and drinking the complimentary hot tea that they give u my foot melted in her hands!!..Sorry for my ranting and raving but These people are unbelivable and I have already recommended 2 co-workers, my sister and mother-in law!! =) more

Great Spa!!! 10/22/2009

This is not a generic day spa; this is a very nice place that really caters to it's clients. I have been going to this spa since 2006 and always leave happy and relaxed. The spa is clean and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The products they use are all natural which is important to me. Also, you can sign up on their website to receive coupons which is not something that a lot of places offer. They have offered a lot of really good deals in the past.\r \r If you are looking for a place that will make you feel special and relaxed, this is it. Pros: Friendly staff, all natural products, nice atmosphere. more

Herbana Spa is the Greatest! 12/5/2008

I recently had a facial at Herbana Spa and was VERY pleased! April was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend her for the Geisha Facial. She was very helpful in recommending products and future treatments to target my personal skin issues. I really love the Eminence products; however, they are quite expensive. I will definitely be back! Pros: Atmosphere, Service Cons: Product prices are a little high. more

Best Day Spa in the area 5/23/2008

I have been going to Herbana for almost a year now and love it. The staff is young but very professional and friendly. I miss Takako for my pedicures but Breanne and Sara are great for massages. I used to go to Anna for facials but she is no longer there. The new person is very nice but sometimes gets in too much of a hurry and has a tendency to show up late or run behind. Overall I love this spa and the care I get while I am there. Everyone always smiles and is very pleasant and helpful and make you feel very special while you are there. Pros: Location, staff is very friendly Cons: Miss Takako! more

WONDERFUL SPA! Heaven on earth! 4/29/2008

I treat my wife to different spas quite often in search of the best of the best. After her visit to Herbana last year as a Valentine's Day present, I realized my search had ended. The service given at Herbana is outstanding! The prices are great compared to other spas in the Houston and Clear Lake areas. My wife says they literally make her feel like a queen. They staff at Herbana are so friendly and masters of their crafts. They are honest and always make sure the customer is 100% satisfied with their service. The facials are the best of anywhere we've experienced before! There's nothing that makes me happier than to see the glow on my wife's face after a Herbana experience. Now, it's the only spa she will go to, even though it's located almost 80 miles from where we live. I highly recommend this spa to ANYONE! Pros: Great service. Friendly and honest staff. Great prices. Cons: I only wish I can give this place 10 stars! more

Best Facial Ever! 4/3/2007

I wanted to write a review about Herbana Natural Concepts Spa because the staff is so nice and it was the best facial I have ever had. The front desk recommended the 'Organica Facial' to me and I had Anna as my esthetician. She was very professional and talked to me about my skin. She gave me a fantastic facial and upper body massage during my appointment, and my skin was glowing by the end. I could definitely see the lines on my forehead were diminished. She said the key is 'exfoliation' and told me what to do at home. I like Herbana because they are so professional, and kind and you get the idea that they really do want to help you... even after you leave the spa. I am buying everyone a gift certificate for here...that's how I found out about it, and it was one of the best gifts I've gotten in a long time! Thanks sweetie for the gift and thanks Anna and herbana for making look and feel beautiful! Pros: Great Staff and products more

I wish this was a chain spa - and near me! 12/10/2006

I go to spas all the time and I was recently visiting from Austin, so I tried this place. I normally don't write reviews, but since I found them on Citysearch; I thought I'd pay it forward to the next person. In a nutshell; this place is ""simple elegance."" I love the design; the owner offered to give me some Feng Shui tips when I re-decorate my apartment. But best of all they have the best facials I have EVER experienced. Like everyone says ""smells fantastic, feels great, and makes your skin look a million times fresher!"" \r \r And ""Perla"" is fantastic (and fast!) at waxing ... I'd totally go brazilian with her! \r \r When you call on the phone, they tell you that you'll love it there. Don't know how much is the power of suggestion, but I definiately did not want to leave! If they had one in my town; I'd go every week. Facial, waxing, and massage ALL GREAT! I am trying the Reiki next time I am in the area! I loved the staff and the treatments. THis one is a winner. Pros: Reasonably Priced; very personal and attentive Cons: I can't live there more

I think that this spa was amazingly decorated and very relaxing atmosphere....the employees were great and very courteous. I think that the services were nice. I wasn't completely impressed with the pedicure I received, it was the top of the line pedicure but didn't even compare to some lower cost pedicures I received in the past. But overall the spa was Great! more

Peaceful Spa ... You FEEL the good Energy! 7/19/2006

I have been to Herbana several times now, so I wanted to share how wonderful it is. The atmosphere is one of the most peaceful I have experienced anywhere. I love the tranquilty room, and the decor, but I have to say the people on staff are some of the nicest, most serene people I have met anywhere. Treatments at Herbana are awesome; I love that they have all the seaweed and DETOX therapies as I am really into that now. I have tried Herbana pedicure, Seaweed Body wrap, and Herbana Facial and every experience has left me blissfully relaxed and feeling like a new woman!!! I live close by Herbana in Clear Lake, and an awesome spa like this is just what we needed here. Pure Bliss - Massage, facial, pedicures, Reiki 6/26/2006

I really enjoy each experience at Herbana. I LOVE the quiet room with the hot tea service to calm down before the massage or facial. The quiet time really enhances the experience. Every detail is geared toward relaxation -- calming, meditative music, relaxing fragrances, tinkling fountains, Earth colors. The therapists are excellent, professional and very talented. I always leave feeling like a new woman. My husband is a huge fan of the massage as well. If you want a basic, quickie massage, Herbana is NOT for you. Howeverm if you can carve out some real time to treat yourself, Herbana focuses on providing the complete spa experience. Pros: Quiet room (overall ambience), skilled staff, excellent massage more

One of the nicest spa I've been to. 6/7/2006

I had read reviews and heard about Herbana throught the "grapevine." People kept saying how nice it was... there was just "something" about the place. I had to find out what the "something" was, so I went. From the second I walked in I was in love with the place too. I felt immediately peaceful and relaxed. I had the "Detox" Spa bath, massage with Michelle, and Mynkiti facial with Elena ... all were absolutely blissful! (The Spa tub room has actual twinkling starlights on the cieling!) Everyone made me feel as if I was there personal guest, like an old friend coming to visit. On my way out I had a chance to meet the owner, Sandra, and I told her about how everyone was talking about herbana and what was it that gave everyone that automatic good feeling when they walked in? She said it was the "Energy," that everyday each member of the staff is reminded to focus on goodness and bring that to the clients. She said I should come back and try energy work like Reiki... I can't wait! These are some of the nicest people I have ever met at a spa. Staff and clients alike seem to walk on clouds. LOve it here... Highly recommend to anyone! more

A great Clear lake Spa 3/2/2006

I have been here more than once and their staff is the most attentive spa staff I have ever encountered. They make you feel extra special. I loved the spa bath, the atmosphere there was so unique! The massage was extraordinary! The facial technician was the first i came across in my many spa hops that would actually listen and tailor the facial to me. Mani/Pedi are also nice but few more color selections will make it even better. They are growing and coming into their own and will be a definite leader in the spa business.
