this was the best dental experience I have ever had....Dr Mandel is very friendly and his staff is exceptional...his office manager helped me maximize my insurance and there was very little cost to me..I had a filling and crown done as well as cleaning and the procedures were painless...he introduced me to a great product called the hydrofloss and thou it cost 100 dollars it has brought my mouth to better health..the office is great highly recommended more

He tried to sell me cleaning machines that cost over a hundred dollars, wanted to sell me a snap on smile--huh? I am a model, my smile is fine, and why is a plastic snap on smile something holistic? AND THAT WAS BEFORE HE EVEN LAID EYES ON ME. (or my "smile") he was yelling out from the other room--Did you tell her about the snap on smile? How insulting. NO and I don't want to hear about a snap-on smile, you are supposedly a holistic dentist.......\r \r He seems a little nervous and just keeps repeating himself with the hard sell of things I don't need, he must make a huge profit off that stuff\r \r The dental assistant does all the work and she made some mistakes or SOMETHING since I had to have the work redone.\r \r I didn't even tell them or ask for a refund, I just didn't ever want to deal with people who seem nice but want my money so badly they will scam me for all I've got.\r \r He seems like a nice person but maybe better as a hair stylist or something where mistakes grow back? more

I needed a new dentist after moving from out of state. Got a flyer in the mail advertising an exam for a reasonable price and thought I'd check it out. Dr. Mandel treated me like a longtime patient. He was very friendly and took the time to explain everything to me so that I felt comfortable. After years of good experiences with my old dentist back in Michigan, it was nice to find another great and caring dentist in La Mesa.
