My first Medspa experience, my best medspa experience! 3/13/2008

I have been really interested in getting botox for a long time and I've tried to get someone to talk serious with me about it at other places. Healing Waters was the first place that I actually felt like they knew what they were talking about and I even got to talk to the owner. No one talked down to me or made me feel stupid about my questions. The fireplace was sooo relaxing and the girl at the front desk was very sweet. I've got a massage booked there now and I can't wait!!! Pros: Knowledgeable, Relaxing environment Cons: Bad parking more

Best Experience EVER! 2/21/2008

I love to get facials and massages! My husband got me a giftcard for christmas and I went in and used it for a Deep Tissue Massage and a Facial. I got my massage first and it was WONDERFUL!!!! April did a fantastic job and was so nice and professional. After my massage I went to the facial. OMG! Molly did such a great job and really taught me alot about my skin and gave me lots of tips and ideas for my skin and helped me pick out things to do at home. The best part is that she actually told me WHY i should use products and not just told me to do it. I asked her tons of questions, I know she was tired by the end, but she answered them all !!! I left feeling like I not only got tons of relaxation, but that I actually LEARNED something about my skin and body, and I did something to change the way i looked and felt Needless to say my husband got lots of kisses that night. Pros: Great Service, Nice People, Great Atmosphere Cons: Packed Parking Lot more

Most expensive, but worst pedicure ever 12/28/2007

I went to Healing Waters after receiving a coupon for getting my husband a massage there. He didn't enjoy the massage, and didn't think I should go there, but I love getting pedicures when I'm pregnant, and was looking forward to having some time to unwind and indulge in some meaningless magazine reading while being pampered. Pros: Nice interior Cons: Exceptionally overpriced, ugly parking lot view from mani/pedi area more

It was a bad experience from the first moment. I appeared to be the only client in the place, yet I was kept waiting for more than 30 minutes with nothing to do but wander around the tiny entrance area and look at overpriced products. When the person doing my pedicure appeared, she seemed friendly but distracted and disinterested. The pedicure was perfunctory at best, although ironically it took a long time. She got me situated with my feet in the water and then disappeared for so long that I eventually went looking for her. I was completely alone in the room for so long that I honestly thought she forgot about me and left. There was nothing to read, and I really didn't want to watch the annoying cooking show that was blaring at me, but wasn't given a remote. I quickly found the whole experience to be irritating rather than pampering. When she came back and started my pedicure, I tried to relax and get into it, but it was over so quickly I hadn't even gotten into a better frame of mind before she was helping me put on my shoes. The nailpolish looked uneven and pitted on a few toes, so I asked her to redo them. She did, and was very nice about it, but I couldn't believe she hadn't taken the initiative to fix them without my request. I was very careful to keep my toes safe from bumps and gave them time to dry, but by the next morning, the polish was already looking cracked and had come off in several places. I couldn't believe that I had paid $30 more than I usually pay for both a manicure and a pedicure together, and my pedicure hadn't even lasted 12 hours! Although I live within walking distance, I have no plans to return. Pros: Nice interior Cons: Exceptionally overpriced, ugly parking lot view from mani/pedi area more

Pricey, but a great experience 10/16/2007

I got my boyfriend a massage for his birthday-his first massage ever, and I thought I was going to have to drag him out of there. He went in feeling tense and jittery and came out like melted butter. April did a great job! I got a facial while he was getting his massage and also had a great experience. I may try something a little less expensive next time, but they advertised on their website that they try to make everyone feel comfortable and I didn't want to take my boyfriend to a really girly space. Healing waters was calm and relaxing with a great atmosphere. Pros: quiet, calm atmosphere, great staff Cons: definitely over priced more

Best spa in triangle area 8/3/2007

I have been living in the triangle area for years now, work all the time, but I've tried several massage therapists and haven't found one that I truly feel like is best for me. I decided to try Healing Waters because some co-workers of mine recommended it. After my first massage there in early July I won't go anywhere else. My massage therapist, April, has made me less stressed just for the fact that she knows and understands exactly what I need. Every time I go in it seems like I need a focus whether it's my back or neck and April emphasizes these spots and my week is so much better because I'm not as stressed. I realize not every therapist is for everyone, but April is by far the best massage therapist I've had yet. If you're looking for a stress reliever I highly recommend Healing Waters. It's pretty much an experience each time. Pros: therapists know what they are talking about, calming atmosphere, works with my schedule Cons: corporate massages would be nice more

Why cant they keep the same staff? 7/14/2007

What is up with this place? Why is the staff never the same? I can never get the same therapist for facials or massage. The front desk staff is never the same, and how hard is it to get an appointment straight. Not to mention why can?t I buy a gift card for any dollar amount. Why do I have to spend $100.00 to get an $88.00 service? I was also told I could leave a tip on the gift card. Then when I went to check out I was told I had to use it toward a service or on over priced product. Save your money go somewhere else. It makes you wonder why they cant keep a steady staff. The Service has definitely gone down hill. Its really a shame because it really was a nice place. Pros: Nice lounge Cons: No Parking, high staff turnover, hard to book Appointments, bad gift card policy more

Absolutely wonderful spa experience! :) 1/4/2007

I was so very pleased with the atmosphere and service I received at the Healing Waters spa! I had been having a very bad week and decided to treat myself to a massage. I selected the classic massage (essentially an aromatherapy massage). It was the best 55 minutes I've experienced in a long time! I can't wait to return and try their other services - next time I think I'll try the deep tissue massage. :) I've visited other spas in the past but this place has something special. It's a total experience - not just a massage. The facility is aesthetically pleasing, the front desk staff was friendly, the service was second to none, and the whole experience was soothing and rejuvenating. I highly recommend it! Pros: Absolutely everything! Pleasing atmosphere, top knotch staff, best service! Cons: I wish I'd made a whole day out of it... I'll be back - there are no cons! more

Best spa experience ever! 1/3/2007

I visited Healing Waters Day Spa due to it being recommended highly to me by a friend. I am so glad that I tried it out. I will definitely be back! The front desk staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was perfect, tastefully designed and emaculate. While this was impressive, it was my facial with Kristina that was truly spectacular. I have had many facials, but this facial by far exceeded any others. I was so impressed with her attitude and demeanor. All of the staff made my experience excellent. Everyone needs to take advantage of Healing Waters, they definitely have their act together.... it is beyond world class! Pros: ambiance, staff, customer service, easy to do business with Cons: wish i had more time to take advantage of more services more
