Will never use this service again! 7/20/2009

We thought that we were getting a good company from a friend who refered Handyman Connection to us. All we wanted was a balconey screened in. All they did was put up 8 pieces of wood and 2 pieces of screen. Charged way to much money for the job,was only here 2 hours. Didn't paint the wood, make sure that the bottom screen was tight. Then the worker even lied to the boss of the company here and we never got our extra materialsor a check for the extra materials. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!! more

Requested a handy man and was sent a Master Electrician 7/15/2009

Our first experience with some outside wood repairs around the garage door was terrific. Our second go-around I requested a handyman to fix some small situations my husband didn't have time for...small electrical remedies along with a minor plumbing leak on an outside faucet and a redo of insulation around the outside doors. We were sent a very nice & very capable Master Electrician. The problem was that we were charged for the time of a Master Electrician instead of for just the handy man we thought was coming. Sorry, but I could have spent that much to hire my own Master Electrician and eliminated the middle man. So much for a handy man which by definition should be a jack of all trades and not a professional journeyman with $100 an hour rate. more

Delighted with the work 6/26/2009

We are delighted with the work we had done this week by a local handyman, Simon Thurston. He did spackling and painting and also refinishing of woodwork. Prompt and courteous. Attention to detail. 5/26/2009

I used Handyman Connection for a small project -- some tile and finish work. One of the definitive factors in choosing them was their convenient location to my home. They were very proactive. They called me to move up the start date of the project and that worked with my schedule. The craftsman who came out and did the job was very knowledgeable. I decided to use Handyman Connection because I had a variety of projects around the house that I needed to get done. They seemed like a good, convenient resource. I have used them for exterior and interior painting, electrical work and finish work -- filing doors. They are friendly and prompt. They also are good at verifying schedules in terms of what work needs to get done when. When I had a problem with one of the doors, they sent someone out to fix it right away at no additional charge. Efficient and economical. 5/19/2009

We have been using Handyman Connection for a couple of years now. They have worked on our heating apparatus. We continue to use them because they are efficient and economical. You can't go wrong with Handyman. They are my first call. 5/15/2009

If I could give Handyman Connection 6 stars for Quality, I would. I had them do a job for me last year and they did good work, so I called them again when I needed something else done. I like using Handyman Connection because they are on time and they do good, detailed work. They also keep the place clean. The craftsmen are polite and friendly. They listen and are willing to make adjustments while they are working. I would absolutely recommend them. If they were the industry standard that all contractors met, then no contractors would have bad reputations. Handyman Connection gets the job done and they do it well. Competent, customer service-oriented business. 5/14/2009

We have been using Handyman Connection for at least 5 years for a variety of home improvement projects. They always send someone out immediately after we call to get an estimate. All of their craftsmen have been competent and customer-friendly. We have no apprehension about the workers being here by themselves when we are not here. Handyman Connection assures that all of the individual craftsmen are fully insured, bonded and licensed. They also follow up once the job is done, to make sure that you are satisfied. This is very comforting. Handyman Connection has completed several projects for us. They have painted the pantry, installed new vinyl on the floor, put up a new light fixture and rebuilt a section of our front stairs. We also used them to rebuild our old deck, which involved removing the old wood and replacing it with composite material. They had to work on the underlying wood that had rotted out. Handyman Connection has a customer appreciation program in which they offer discounts to longtime customers like us. I would definitely recommended them. In fact, I already have! Jerrie Lance more

Courteous, helpful, and they did a great job. 5/13/2009

I tell everyone about Handyman Connection. When people come to my house and say how beautiful it looks, I tell them that Handyman Connection did it. They completed 2 big projects for me. The first one was the front of the house -- dining room, living room and sitting room. They took down all of the paneling, re-did the walls and installed crown molding and wood floors. The second job they did was the back of the house -- the bedrooms and the hall, which we had them do in the same style as the front. I was very happy with the way everything turned out. I heard about Handyman Connection from my daughter, who used them to remodel her house. I was impressed with the work they did for her, so I told her to call them to do our house. I would recommend Handyman Connection to anyone because they did such a beautiful job for us. They do high-quality work. Mary Cason more

Great work at reasonable prices. 5/13/2009

I have been using Handyman Connection for about 4 years, several times a year. They helped remodel my kitchen. In fact, they did almost all of the work. They have done painting and wallpapering as well as general repairs. They also built a small deck outside. What I love about Handyman Connection is that they come exactly when they say they will. They are always on time. In the initial appointment they set up with you, they give you a price that they stick to. There are no surprise costs, no add-ons. I have been very satisfied with them and would definitely recommend them. Their combination of reasonable prices, courtesy and promptness is rare in the market these days.
