i've had chronic eczema all my life, and it wasn't until I started seeing Dr Han that I began seeing results in my skin. I finally no longer need to use all my steroid creams and pills anymore! Dr Han is one of the few doctors who I feel really cares about his patients. He takes the time to ask how not only you are doing, but also remembers details about your family, and seems genuinely concerned for their well being too. I remember once I had a pain in my lower back. When I came in for my skin treatment, he noticed that my back was hurting, so he took the time to treat that as well. Dr Han and his staff came to our yoga studio on the Lower East SIde (Yoga High) to do an acupuncture workshop. It was a big success. He and his wonderful staff were professional, warm and filled with knowledge. We loved having them here and we would recommend him to anyone. Dr. Han is a very knowledgeable and experienced acupuncturist. Unlike many other acupuncturists, he really takes the time to listen to and evaluate a patient's symptoms and concerns and he speaks English! I have always been wary of practitioners of chinese medicine who have been educated abroad. However, those concerns were alleviated after learning that Dr. Han received his education and training in Oriental Medicine here in the United States.\r \r Although acupuncture is never entirely painless, I have found that sessions with Dr. Han have been much more pain free than those I have experienced with other practitioners. I have noticed that compared to many other acupuncturists, Dr. Han takes a great deal of time and care when inserting needles and also tries to do so gently. \r \r I also like that Dr. Han is a realistic practitioner. He does not offer an overnight cure, but lays out realistic expectations of treatment and results. I have also noticed that many other practitioners completely dismiss western medicine, but Dr. Han approaches acupuncture and western medicine as complementary therapies - and is open and honest about when one may be more effective than the other.\r \r I highly recommend Dr. Han's treatments to anyone seeking pain relief or improving their overall health. Two years ago, I had unbearable back pain caused by disc.
