Half Price Books

Half Price books is a used bookstore that occasionally sells new books as well. You can take in your old books and recieve some money to buy new ones. Usually, they do not offer you a good price, but it is often better than giving away your books. Occasionally, it is also possible to find college textbooks here as well, for excellent prices. At Half Price books, nothing is ever more than half the list price. Half Priced books also has a good selections of records, DVDs, VHS, CDs, computer programs and even cassette tapes. Sometimes, it is possible to find really good books in the bargain markdown section, especially if you are in the market for children's books. Overall, you would probably be better selling your books online if you can, but if you can't bring 'em in...you will probably be pleased with the large selection available in the store. If you are looking for a book, you can also call first and see if they have it before you venture up, and if its at a farther away Half Priced books location, they will send it to a location closer to you. I was a bit skeptical of going to this place, but in the end I was very satisfied. They have a huge selection of books movies and cd's. I found a couple of things I wanted, and even traded in some books from around the house I no longer needed. Their price for trade ins wasnt very good but it was still something, definately better than having a garage sale. I recommend this place for those who really want some media for a price less than stores sell for. Employees were very friendly as well. more

I went here to get a bible for my daughter and they had great prices on books. I found what I was looking for and so much more. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was able to find some children books that were classics for cheaper prices than I had seen anywhere else. more
