Happy Happy Client! 4/2/2014

I met with Doris and had my consultation and she did my hair all in the same day. My hair felt softer and smelled awesome and looked 100% better than when I arrived there! No gimmicks with Doris. She has an eye for detail and I love the fact that she explained everything that she was doing. I felt so comfortable from the moment I sat in her chair! Great Healthy Hair 1/30/2010

Doris has been my stylist for about 10 years. She is able to pick the best look to match your features and hair texture. Her focus is healthy hair and she is always attending classes so her knowledge is current. Instead of trying to match a photo in a magazine - Doris uncovered the best look for me! I love my hair color. more

Hair Designs By Doris is a great salon 12/11/2009

Excellent service. It was my first time going and I would say she's the best in the business. Unlike many stylist, she took time to examine my hair and provided information on what it needed. The prices were about average for the area and the services above average. She didn't try to sell me anything, or encourage me to come back for services I didn't need. As for the styling, I picked a hairstyle from a magazine she provided, and she attempted to style it accordingling. Of course the picture was of a woman with longer hair so I wasn't surprised that she didn't get an exact match and I was pleased with the results. She even asked me if I wanted to change the style in any way. In the end, my hair was soft, mangageble, and beautifully colored. I would certainly recommend her. more

I appreciate her willingness to share knowledge in assisting you to better maintain your hair, competitive but fair pricing, and the flexibility given to accommodate scheduling. i started going to this shop in April of 2009 , my hair has not only grew but has never been as healthy as it is now, Doris really care for your hair. If you are having hair problems, such as breakage, falling out, etc. I strongly suggest you call Doris. you will see and feel the difference in your hair. more

Excellent job of personalizing treatments to your hair. Exceptional job with relaxer, color and conditioning. Upfront pricing, no surprises at the end. Priced slightly above average. Located in a salon mall. The styling at the end could use some improvement. Average styling, similar to most salons in western burbs. Exceptional hair care makes it worthwhile. more
