I understand where some of the bad reviews are coming from (even though most seem to share suspiciously similar broken english - how well are they communicating their needs to the waitstaff?). I've been a regular customer for over 2 years. In the past I would ask not to have certain servers, knowing they were edgy. It appears Haiku has listened to the criticism over its service, because it seems like I see all new, kind faces among the staff. I've been to almost every other sushi place in Columbus multiple times, and the percentage of times I've had great, fresh sushi is superior at Haiku (and Restaurant Japan). Every month there is a new collection of art pieces to experience. I encourage everyone to take advantage of the venue for expression and jot down a Haiku on the provided materials (remember 5-7-5). The soothing hot towels are a bonus.
Pros: Great food, Gorgeous environment, Nice patio
Cons: Forced valet parking, Sometimes loud music
