The GCMA is an accredited contemporary art museum located in Largo, Florida. The GCMA's campus includes nine permanent collection and changing exhibition galleries featuring artwork by Florida artists and Southeastern fine crafts, along with sculpture gardens, studio-classrooms, an auditorium and a museum store. Many educational programs and membership events supplement the exhibitions. The GCMA, the Florida Botanical Gardens and Heritage Village comprise Pinewood Cultural Park, where nature, art and history come together. The Gulf Coast Museum of Art is located in Pinewood Cultural Park, home to the Florida Botanical Gardens and the Heritage Village! The Museum has been around since 1936, but moved to its new location in 1999. The the award winning architecture and landscaping are a visual masterpiece.
