I want to add to the good name of Growing Tree Childrens Center I worked there for almost 2 years and never have I been more happy at the place i worked at. I would strongly recomend anyone looking for child care in this are to try it out. All the staff there are extremely friendly and knowledgable and the director and co-director are as well. They certianly have the knack down for knowing how to engage the children in all sorts of wonderful play and are not afraid to let the kids be kids. I still go back and vist from time to time with my daughter who might even go there some day. If she does go to preschool it would be the only place i would take her. I wouldnt let someone that had one bad experience deter you more

2+ good years at Growing Tree 8/7/2006

We sent our son to Growing Tree when he turned 2 years old. We had checked out many day care facilities in our area, including going to the county offices and looking up the inspection and violation reports. Growing Tree gave us the best feeling for their caregivers and had the fewest incident reports on record. It was not the cheapest, but we felt our money was being well spent.\r Our son has formed great relationships with all the teachers/caregivers there, even the ones from the other rooms. He speaks fondly of every adult that works there and has made some great friends of his "classmates". He always comes home with different arts & crafts projects and is learning his letters and numbers and many things that we ourselves have never introduced to him. He always surprises us with some new tidbit of knowledge or some new song he has learned at Growing Tree.\r I have read the other reviewer's description of what she experienced, and I find it extremely difficult to believe anyo more

My son was abused 10/26/2005

I took my son to this daycare when he was about 18 mos old. It was his first time at a daycare and he was only going 2 days a week. I thought this day care was so cute, and everyone seemed friendly. The price was right, and it is very close to my house. They had also been in business for 15 years at the time I took my son about 2 years ago. Well my son had a hard time adjusting to the nap schedule there, but had finally got it down. One day I went to pick him up when the director took me aside and told me that it wasnt working out with him and that she thought I needed to remove him from the day care. I thought that odd, since all his teachers had told me he was doing much better. Then my son comes running up to me, and his ear is black and blue. I asked the director about it and she said "oh I think he must have bumped it" His ear was BLACK and BLUE, and they had an incidient report that stated they had NO IDEA how it happened. If he had bumped himself that hard to make it more
