After dealing with mega-chain-store, unfriendly, unprofessional lens crafter companies, I found this office. They really do have very good customer service & the doctor took a lot of time to explain & discuss my eye issues with me. All the staff in the office were very friendly, hepful & professional. From someone who has almost twenty years of customer service experience and who has been going to Optometrists for almost twice that long; I am happy to say this was the most pleasant eye exam experience I have ever had. From my initial phone call for an appointment through the entire in-office process everyone was courteous, professional and friendly. I brought my badly bent prescription sunglasses in the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Over the long weekend my 2 year old nephew had gotten ahold of them and had bent them up pretty badly. One of the arms broke when trying to straighten it out so Myra tracked down another set for me. When they came in, they bolted right on, but the lenses would not remain in the frames any longer. My lenses were still under warranty so she ordered a new set of lenses and they fit right in. I could not be happier with the service I received and am ecstatic to have my sun glasses back! I have been a patient at Grossmont Vision Center for over 2 years and I feel that Dr. Riggs and his staff provide incredible service. Dr. Riggs is a very professional and caring doctor who explains exactly what he is doing and has state of the art diagnostic equipment to allow him to get a clear and accurate picture of the health of your eyes. He is articulate and takes time to explain what he is doing and makes you feel like your eyes have been treated with the utmost care possible. I love to karaoke and if I were to dedicate a song to this office it would be "I can see clearly now". Dr. Riggs and his staff are personable, professional and provide you with prompt attention and care. The staff is wonderful at helping you decide what glasses work best for you and explain the different options that best suit your individual needs. Professional, caring, honest, respectful, and helpful would be the first five words I would use to describe Grossmont Vision Center.
