Had an issue with my passenger door not closing and my power driver side window switch lock button being broken. Being new to the area, my friends looked up places to fix my car and found griffin's auto repair nearby which had a good amount of reviews. Initially I was quoted 100+ for labor to replace the driver side switch plus whatever the piece cost. They were unsure what was not making my passenger side close. I then received a call that it would cost $300+ since they are not sure what is causing the door not being able to be closed and wanted to take it apart and see, but they assume it may be a lock clamp. After realizing what the high cost was and being told even then they wouldn't be able to fix my main issue (passenger door not closing) till Monday, Ultimately I decided to just pick up my car.
In the end. I paid $55 with nothing resolved. However, customer service is friendly. Sadly everyone who has helped me looking for a mechanic was hoping they would bring their car in there since it is closed has now changed their minds due to my own experience and them seeing first hand what I brought in and what I received back. Understood service isn't free, but this was a high price for nothing.
Funny thing is, after taking it to another mechanic, nothing needed to be replaced in the passenger side X_x.
