Ridicoulous Service. Rude and unworthy human beings 9/6/2011

My husband and I where in Huston shopping this weekend when we stumbled across this god awful place. We where on our way out when I had noticed an okay pair of boots so we went in. This rude white salesmen came up to me and said, '' these boots are 1250.00.'' I said excuse me because I did NOT here him the first time and he raised his voice and said,'' ONE, TWO, FIVE, ZERO, YOU NOW LIKE IN ONE ""THOUSAND"" TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS."" I had said okay and ignored the way he said it. Walked and way and looked at some heels, right away the rude dumb ass says, ""ALL THOSE SHOES ARE 2,OOO TO 8,000 DOLLARS."" With a look like I couldn't afford it..... He made my blood boil.... I will never ever go back to that AWFUL STORE in my life time.... I own several busniesses and would never allow my employes to speak to any one like that..... SHAME ON YOU AND YOUR STORE.... You should close if you don't even know how to respect others. more

Dreadful Shopping Experience! Poor and unacceptable service! 5/16/2011

Shopping for me is always a blissful experience! This day I Definitely had a shopping nightmare!\r \r My two younger teen aged cousins and I were spending quality time at the galleria mall Sunday, May 16, 2011.\r \r After lunch at the Cheesecake factory we decided to stop at Gregory’s located right across, their 8th grade prom is near maybe I can help the girls find “The Dress” .\r We walk in and a short, hispanic sales woman asked if we needed help, I smiled and said ""No thank you, we are just looking around"" I am very kind when it comes to dealing with a sales team, I know how difficult it can be. The lady stares at me from head to toe and follows me in this ""in your face"" kind of way. I tried to ignore it at first, but when I felt like her agression was getting to my younger cousins and my personal space was being invaded, at this point we just wanted to be left alone. \r Although I was very agitated, I nicely asked the sales woman if there was a particular reason she was following me around the store? I explained I really was in no need of help, I will be sure to ask her for assistance when needed. The woman looked at me and said very rudely and loudly "" I AM HERE TO PROVIDE A SERVICE, THIS IS WHAT WE DO IN MY STORE SO I AM FOLLOWING YOU"" I said I appreciate her but if I need help I will ask for it. A tall Hispanic man then came our direction, and at this point my two younger cousins were afraid of the aggressive way he approached us, he snapped his fingers with this arrogant loud tone ""THIS IS MY STORE AND YOU KNOW WHAT, I WANT YOU OUT NOW! OUT OF HERE! NOW OUT OF MY STORE""\r The owner? That careless and ignorant? No wonder the staff is no better!\r \r How this store can be in such a upscale area and have the most ignorant staff and owner is mind blowing! more

Buyer Beware! 1/31/2011

This store has a non-existent return policy. It doesn't matter what the issue is, they only give you a store credit or exchange and THAT is only within 5 days of purchase. There are so many other stores to choose from in the Galleria such as Neiman's, Saks or Nordstrom - all of which have generous return policies. Heck, even Louis Vuitton has refunds for 14 days! They don't carry anything that you can't find elsewhere without the strings attached at a better price! more

worst shopping experience EVER 1/3/2010

Me and my daughter were shopping there last week and as soon as we stepped into the store, a pushy sales person, a femine guy, came up to us and started to follow us around. My daughter had seen a dress in the store she really liked , but noticed there was a thread loose, so she mentioned it to the guy: he slapped the dress out of her hands and told her that that is what happens to their clothing when people touched it! My daughter is a grown up and was totally stunned by his reaction. I was already down further in the store, so she walked up to me and try to explain what happened to her, then we got interupted by the same guy, asking her ,,are you ok?'' She asked him if he was ok? Then the argument started and he claimed she pulled that thread from the dress. I asked him how people suppose to try on clothes if they are so affraid they will ruin it? He responded: the dress wouldn't fit her anyway...Did he just say that? I told him he was unbelievable rude, and that we were returning customers, who shop quite frequentle at Gregory's: he than told me that he was the owner and told us ,to get out of his store''I was absolutely in shock and we left the storfe, but I called my husband , who was not far from us and told him what had happened. He went back into the store to talk to this guy or the manager: well , the guy was in the back and would not come out and the manager ignorant about what just happened to us. My daughter was so upset with this sales guy and wanted a personal appology: he never came out from the back. I hope he wil get fired ,because no retail business should have a person like that on staff: especially in such a high end store. Unbelievable , and we will NEVER go back there. Instead we went of to The Woodlands, there is a new store called Shoecolate, and we dropped several thousand of dollars there: great service, very respectful. And of course great stuff: shoes, clothing and assecoiries! \r Boohoo Gregory's, you just lost a client. Cons: Pushy and rude sales people: over the top nuts more

Gregory's poor customer service 5/19/2009

The stuff looks great, but overpriced for what it is. The sales person/owner was extremly pushy, interupted personal conversations and when my aunt made a comment to me about not liking pushy sales people we were told to leave and never shop there again. When I called the management office to complain, I was told if I didn't like the service, not to shop there again. more

Too Pushy !! 9/2/2007

I absolutely love the name brands that this store has to offer.. But, OMG !!! Stop following me around already !! From the minute you walk into this store their is some pushy salesperson on your back.. when asked if you need help & you respond ""no thank you, I'm just looking"" they start pulling things out asking ""have you seen this or this or this"".. & they won't stop.. I literally have to run out of the store to get my personal space back.. I will not go back for this reason !! Pros: Great name brands, cute store Cons: Beyond Pushy Salespeople.. obviously work on commission.. UGH !!! more

Gregory's...gotta have it 1/16/2007

Gregory's is a unique mix of what I want right now and more importantly what I will want in two months. Their incredibly knowledgable staff create a warm, fun environment in which to shop. The merchandise differs from the typical ""what you expect"" from a Galleria boutique; and the shoe collection - that shoe collection is second to none. Whether you are a Gregory girl or a walk in client - Gregory's, Houston Galleria is the one stop destination ""gotta have it"" boutique in Houston. Pros: Shoes, clothing mix; attentive and knowledgable staff more
