Great salads and fries 2/28/2006

I like this place cause it's near where my friends go to college so we can stop in and grab a bite. I think they have THE BEST friench fries, and I am a salad lover and those are great too. I hate places that charge you for the price of a meal and give you a bowl of lettuce with a cucumber and a carrot on the side... Trust me, you will have enough to take home and save for later if you order a salad from this place. more

GREAT FRENCH FRIES OMG 2/28/2006

This place has the best French Fries in the world. Seriously, they're awesome. Whenever I'm in University City I stop by to pick up an order, sometimes even if I'm not hungry. I love them and it's killing me inside, but you should try them too. We can be addicts together and chase them like zombies chase brains. more

Delicious Greek 10/28/2005

Great hours, good food, and great prices! on top of that, also a great location on campus. Nice spacious, no fuss dining area. Straightforward ordering and fast service. Generous portions. The people there are really nice and lots of college kids eating at all different hours. Huge, hearty salads that you can't finish in one setting. more

Best blend of american and greek 9/30/2005

They do have the best gyros around philly, as far as I've experienced. Their selection includes some good greek-adaptations, and your usual fast-food (cheesesteaks, hamburgers...etc). In addition to having the best gyros, they also have great salads. Additional items I would really recommend from here are the mousaka and the must have tzaziki. more

i love the greek lady. their chicken gyros are amazing and I believe they have the best cheesesteaks in philly. however, the last time I went, I got VIOLENTLY ill. The wierd thing is that 3 other people who went to GL recently also got sick. Not sure what to make of it. But as a UPenn staple, you cant go wrong.. good luck! more

Impressive 6/22/2005

If you like mediterranean food, you might like the greek lady. I myself am from Turkey, which shares a lot of dishes with Greece. I have had cheap greek food at other places, and found this one to be my favorite so far. Apart from your common gyros (as good as greek gyros generally can get), I really recommend their tzatsiki if you are into yogurt/olive oil/garlic with pita. It's a delicacy that I did not expect to be this good. One other thing to mention would be that they carry a good amount of non-greek food such as delicious cheese-steaks and what-not as well. more
