Just the facts Yesterday my 7 yr old daughter received a pulpotomy w/crown. That was at 3pm, by 6pm the crown was off. She was in pain all night. This AM, she was seen and the error was corrected. The dental assistant explained that the adult dentist had worked to set the tooth correctly and that she did not know why the Pediatric dentist did not prep the tooth correctly yesterday. He put the wrong size crown on the tooth. Today took 30 minutes of additional drilling to get the tooth prepped and crown sized correctly.
