I went to Good Nail today to get a mani/pedi. I got my pedi first. The pedi was good until it was time to get my toes painted. The outcome was mediocre. I could have done better if I had done it myself. For my manicure, I wanted acrylics. The nail tech was rushing the whole time. She let the acrylic touch my skin too long on my thumbs and it burned. She didn't cut my natural nails before she glued the tips on, so my real nails are visible through the acrylic and the acrylic nails are not wide enough to cover my whole nail. There wasn't very much variety in terms of whatever shape you want your nails to be. They just assume you want square tips. That's probably all they have supplied. Anyway, my nails were fine until she put the gel overlay on top. I didn't notice until I left that I had tiny bubbles on all of my nails because she didn't let the gel coat dry before she put on a second layer. My nails are not all the same length. And a couple of hours after I left the salon, my nails are hurting quite a bit. I will be getting them removed and will be refunded tomorrow. No more discount salons for me.
