Good Impressions Cleaning LLC

I hired 2 of their employees for a post-renovation cleaning in my empty home and they damaged my granite (granite that has been installed 2 days prior) and left deep etching on my new porcelain kitchen floor. I noticed this while I was still having my house cleaning I called Donna on the spot; she was rude and unprofessional. At first I was told they would look into this and send someone over to assess the damage but then they never followed up and ignored my e-mails. When I finally got a hold of Donna she told me I had waited too long to contact the company and it was no longer their problem, when in fact I had called and e-mailed her pictures immediately. She then informed me that she didn?t know what I did in my home to destroy my property but she did extensive research on Google and concluded that Good Impressions Cleaning was absolutely in no way responsible and she would not file a claim or look into this any further because she didn?t have to. I asked to speak to the owner of the business, Chimene Hanley and Donna would not put me through to her or let me know when I could contact her directly. I informed her that I would be stopping payment on my American Express and contacting the BBB ?Donna then reiterated that then they ?would really not do anything to help me? . I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. more

Contracted a two person crew to clean my first and second floor home. They did not have to do any laundry or make any beds, simply 2 bathrooms; 4 bedrooms only the floors. When I called to make the appt. I was told 4 hrs would be sufficient with a 2 person crew. From the first steps into my home, the female was nonstop arguing with the male coworker. They took 3 1/2 hrs on the second floor and when I noticed what time it was I headed upstairs to see what was going on and noticed they still weren't even fixed with the bathrooms. I admit I got very angry and let them know I was very disappointed with your sloppy and extremely slow work. It escalated and I called the company and told them I wanted their employees out of my home. They sent a manager who helped them finish the job but I was not happy with the service and told them I would only pay for 5 hours, nothing more. They left once I called in the payment. I later noticed that my baby's washcloths were missing, I will never use this company again. Pros: null Cons: null more

I have been using Good Impressions, about every two weeks, since moving to Staten Island 3 years ago. They have been honest, professional and responsible in my experiences with them. The cleaners they have sent to me have always been pleasant and do a great job cleaning. You only have to tell them your preferences once and they will continue to clean what you want without further mention. Pros: null Cons: null more

The lady (Donna) that took my call was totally helpful. I booked them for 4hrs and I was amazed how the lady made my one bedroom spotless. I was especially thrilled that she was able to clean my entire apartment without any supervisions. I will definitely call them back. Pros: null Cons: null more

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE FOR ANY REASON!!! I am moving to a new house and hired them to clean...and I WAS ROBBED!! Their employee Adam was THE ONLY person left in the room with my Incredible 2 cell phone. All my irreplaceable family photos were on that phone...I am devastated, to say the least. I gave them the opportunity to return the phone or just the memory card, no questions asked, but it was not returned. His partner seemed sincere and honorable, but she defended him way more than he defended himself. I am hurt beyond words. more

I Call GIC for a move in cleaning because the previous tenant never clean in 5years, i would say! But Daniel and the other cleaner(forgot the name) make it spotless! Very professional company. more

I found the service from this company -- and a particular cleaner, Odile -- to be such a horrifying experience that I think it is my duty to warn others. I was recommended to them through a friend who had a particular cleaner, Maz, who did a good job when she came once to my house. However, she left on vacation and the replacement cleaner was AWFUL! She could barely communicate (I am bilingual myself and have had many non-English speaking services, but she did not even make an effort to communicate), was very sullen and had a bad attitude. I asked her to do laundry and sort clothes and she never indicated that she couldn't do it. She was extremely slow and 5 hours later told me that she was "out of time" and I could decide whether to pay more, but would not tell me what she had left to do and how long it would take her. In that time, she had only done the laundry, cleaned 1 very small bedroom, 1 bathroom, and the kitchen (not the other bedroom, the living room, or the floors, which other cleaners manage -- and I'd had a cleaner the week before so the place wasn't dirty). She then decided to leave. She did not take the garbage out and left everything in a mess. After she left, I discovered my engagement ring, which was on the coffee table (I knew I had just taken it off for a few minutes while I was in the apartment with her) was missing! I hunted frantically for it and called the cleaning service in the meantime and was told she said she hadn't "seen no engagement ring." I finally found it in the trash can in a bundle of bounty which she had used to wipe the coffee table! We then discovered that night that she had ruined 8 of my husband's work shirts and all our towels because she did not sort the laundry and they were stained with blue from a pair of jeans. The worst part was that she never even told us -- had she, we could have saved them from at least being put in the dryer and the stains being set. After all this, the company avoided my calls for a while and still cashed the payment for her, and then ultimately refused to refund me or credit me for another cleaning-- even though we were out of pocket for far more! I repeat what someone else said, if I could give negative ratings I would -- please stay away from these people for your own sake! Cons: threw my ring in the trash, ruined my laundry more

These guys cleaned my apartment couple days ago, they did an excellent job! Pros: Thumbs up more
