Emiko is just amazing! She did a fabulous job cutting my shoulder-length bob hair into a cute/ sexy short cut. I brought in a few pictures and walked out looking just like the gal in one of the photos! Styling has been a breeze, always the sign of a GREAT cut! THANKS EMIKO! more

Emiko did a great job of cutting an almost 3 year old boy's hair. I know it is a challenge for a little kid to sit still for anything and her patience and getting him to cooperate was very insightful. Very pleased with the quick cut and the look of his hair too! more

My daughter came in for the first time asking Emiko for a pixie style cut which required 6+ inches to be cut. Emiko did a superb job of understanding the requested look, making it look it and teaching my daughter how to style it. I was very pleased with the results! more

Ready for the graduation! 3/19/2011

I found her place through the website and took my 12 year old son for haircut. He had his graduation ceremony coming up at Japanese School and needed the pro's help. Boy, I tell you he looked great at the ceremony with suit and tie and the very neat haircut! I thank Emiko for the friendly service for my shy boy. I will be bringing in another son of my very soon! more

Perfect fit for me 3/6/2011

I feel so fortunate to have learned about Emiko's little salon. She was able to do exactly what I asked and was easy to be around. The salon itself had convenient parking and a very relaxed atmosphere. Definitely going back. more

This was my first time having Emiko do my hair and I love it! Emiko has been doing my moms hair for a while and she highly recommended her. Emiko did a partial balayage on my hair, it will take a couple more appointments with her to get it how I want it to look but so far I love the results! I will definitely be going back to Goldie Locks Hair Stuido! more

Ombre 2/13/2011

After being blonde for so long (years), when I am naturally dark brunette, Emiko helped me to gently transition to "bronde" and then to a fun red-brunette, next to a highlighted red-brunette, and finally to my new ombre look: golden with baliaged highlights which get lighter on the bottom. I LOVE IT!! Emiko is such a great stylist - so thoughtful & helpful. Willing to consider what I want with helping to guide me through what would actually work! THANK YOU EMIKO! more

Emiko understands curly hair! 2/7/2011

I have horror stories of what stylists have done to my long, thick, curly hair, Emiko is not one of them! She has actually made my hair look better than it ever has, layering it just right so that the 'puffball' is gone and the frizz stays at bay. I highly recommend Goldie Locks! more

I'm a new client of Emiko's and I'm very impressed! I cut off 10 inches to donate to Locks of Love and wasn't too sure of the short style I wanted. Emiko did a great job at looking at my hair type and giving me a great style without ever working with my hair before. The color she did was excellent as well! I would definitely recommend anyone to have her as their stylist! more

Hiding the gray 11/30/2010

I have been a client of Emiko's for a very long time and she always provides the best color and now color and cut! I went through withdrawal when she was on maternity leave, but am very happy that she is back. more

Keratin Glaze Blowout tamed my frizzies 10/7/2010

Honestly, I’m shocked that the Keratin Glaze Blowout actually worked. I'm pretty skeptical but added this treatment to my last haircut. My naturally curly hair looked great when Emiko styled it straight (which happens every visit btw) but when I washed it and left it curly so much of the usual frizziness was gone. All day I was marveling at how defined my curls were until I finally remembered why: the keratin treatment! more
